  1. The key problem as I see it , that of the Indifference displayed by New Zealand as a non-permanent member of the Security Council by it’s deafening silence is that there does not exist any dignity of Statesmanship in the Leadership of our Nation. With less than a year to run we have shamefully endorsed the brutality of the ” Goliath of the Western Alliance ” upon the ” slingshot David ” of Palestine by not inspiring even one example of Leadership on the ” World Stage.
    Shame on us.

    1. You have it exactly, Hi Vis ~ lack of statesmanship and insidious silence! This is the urgent message we must get across to our all our politicians. It’s disgraceful that the crisis in Palestine, which is at the epicentre of the growing instability threatening the world, should be treated with so little concern.
We all need to spread the message and increase the pressure. Especially important for the rest of this year.

  2. A state built on injustice, aggression (masked as “self-defence”), and thumbing it’s nose at the international community, will reap the “rewards” of it’s belligerence. There can be no peace without justice for all, and that includes the Palestinian people.
