Judith Collins vows to find out who created ‘misleading’ National ad with her name on it
The National Party leader is vowing to spend Wednesday morning finding out who created a social media image labelled “misleading” which said it had been authorised by her.
The Speaker of the House, Trevor Mallard, on Tuesday said Health Minister Chris Hipkins had raised a matter of privilege with him, complaining about the “alteration or misrepresentation of a reply of a written question posted by the National Party on social media”.
…it’s difficult to see how this was a mistake as the very purpose was to misquote Hipkins and falsify his comments.
You can’t purposely attempt to mislead and then gasp in faux shock that you’ve been found to be misleading.
This is National, this is what they do. Misrepresent, active deceit and purposeful manipulation.

• In the backrooms –Filthy, illegal, unethical and reprehensible Dirty Politics is funded by wealthy backers.
Hager’s only mistake remains not calling his book “National’s Dirty politics”.

More likely Collins will be spending Wednesday morning in some back room chuckling and congratulating whomever for the media attention she’s scored.
It is also the policy of Donald Trump,
Boris Johnson and others.
It’s no accident that the “Brexit Boys” are in town supported by Arron Banks.
