  1. Protecting a narrow track of wealth and power has been a source of power for Don Brash and Hobson’s choice that gives control and veto powers over what his rivals may do with industrial power. It’s not even access to free speech. For the last thirty years the already wealthy has attempted to take the last bits of middle class comfort out of the kiwi dream reproducing Nazi style hate crimes and thought crimes and racial and religious superiority. Reproducing nazi memorabilia in New Zealand is a crime, with out that criminal statute holocaust denial would be free for any one, and people are doing that. Now there are university chancellors pretty much saying whoops, we’ve gone to far with neoliberal reforms that crush the middle classes and now attempt to ban free speech. These people are unbelievable. Power is not for the faint hearted. Power is not for the weak.
