  1. Winstone too is likely to go up.

I’ve read many comments from old womans rights types and old time Lesbians who are vowing to not vote for anyone who wont put Womens voices first. So on that basis (they’re traditionally left voters) I imagine the smaller parties also may gain some such as NC or TOP perhaps but certainly ACT and NZF.

The consensus is out everywhere on social media that Luxon does not stand for anything and is in any event, always a dollar short and a day late. I dont think he is physically capable of being unequivocal so although he could be a big winner here , he’s blown it.

Meanwhile Nashy gets the Slashy Part 2 came along and the poor man got sacrificed on the Altar of Chippie’s very bad day (3 days) where he just couldnt get the narrative off of the intractable Marama Davidson and the beating up of the old Fems in the Rotunda both of which were seriously making him look bad.

So poor old Nashy got sacrificed via Stuff to save the party who had his goose cooked and out to the press in about an hour. (Not sure the PMs people could get a Press release turned around in that kind of time anyway). But the main thing is that the new and improved PM got to show his decisive and moral correctness and managed to snatch the narrative back from culture wars purgatory.

Alas poor Nashy, I knew him well. He was a good bloke who went down with the ship or should we say went out on a tide of Forestry Slash.

  2. I thought one of the arguments to be presented was not allowing transgender people into women-only spaces, something I can certainly agree with. The trouble with any transgender argument is that you are dealing with liars (in my opinion)

      1. Exactly what I want to know ?

        No one can answer that.

It is blatant anti trans bullshit.

  3. Divide and rule.
Those at the top are peeing themselves laughing at our stupidity and how easily we are manipulated.
‘Rats in a cage’ as per the well know pyscology experiment and the Chris Martenson video.

  4. If the left parties can’t control themselves and remove politicians who are not able to control themselves and be objective and are creating a double justice system where 70 year old ladies are assaulted on a protest for speak up for woman, then they aka Marama should not be in power.

It is not the first time Marama has said similar statements against white men. The C word has been used before. Now they have the crazies and extremists everywhere in parliament. It is Donald Trump inciting violence and division, but in the hard left.

  5. The aesthetic left aren’t listening. They’re got grifters of there own, lawyers, doctors, bureaucrats, corporations, YouTubers, twitter accounts. All grifting and all profiting from the devolution of the two patent household to a one parent household.

They’re begining with conclusions like trans woman are woman. Nevermind the data and science.

I say we strap them all to the Green Party and drown it at the election.

  6. De-platforming should always be a last resort unless it is actual avowed Nazis. Then anything goes.

People should realise that the state forces and Police play for keeps unlike the Rainbow brigade. I was on a dawn union strike and picket at Astley Tanneries in New Lynn just after the union busting Employment Contracts Act was passed in the early 90s. Big tough mainly Polynesian workers, the front row linked arms and a large contingent of cops with batons advanced–and trying something new they took advantage of the picketers arms being down and used hammer blows directed at collar bones, several received broken collar bones and other nasty injuries. We held the line and the cops pulled back. A bit more than tomato juice!

Kelly Jay/Parker is the least of our worries–a right twat. She seems part of the global effort of Steve Bannon and co that surfaced via Groundswell etc at the Parliamentary grounds occupation. It is diversionary bollocks. It is indeed corporate capital and climate disaster we need to be fighting first and foremost.

  7. Political violence leading up to the election from an extremist in the transgender community very possible now just as from white nationalist or incel communities.
Fringe groups open to radicalisation especially via their social media echo bubbles, and in the case of the weekend have been provided an example where their moral authority from the event was celebrated and promoted.
One day tomato juice, the next…

  8. People are tired of losing the right to protest or speak freely in NZ. Whether you agree or disagree there used to be a fundamental right to protest in NZ, that has been eroded and free speech and debating both points of view together, is very hard to achieve here now.

Don Brash can’t speak at university (too dangerous).

Speak up for Woman can’t speak in Wellington.

Speak up for Woman can’t speak in Auckland.

Counter protests groups can’t speak in Auckland. (Too dangerous).
Auckland Council urges people to stay away from canned anti-co-governance rally

Fundamental rights have been eroded under a left government that is undermining the basics of democracy, The woke agenda is not left it is totalitarian than left.

  9. all you people are aware there are over 140 plus anti transgender bills in progress in USA red states are you not.

All led by your so called women only spaces crap religious right and neo Nazis and white supremacists.

This is just one of the over 300 political action committee’s leading the charge and paid for posies tour.

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conservative_Political_Action_Conference?fbclid=IwAR3uGMSwXP4u0aZfMAg34JqmivhR9kBQnl1UgzlVZk05cOx8QlzcRzzdgYo

Last weekend wasn’t a victory it was an open declaration of war.

If the right and their acolytes try to bring their USA style anti lgbtqia bullshit here .
The rainbow community of all ages will be out on the streets in force.

    1. Actually last Saturday was an outstanding win.

Speak Up for Women is being overwhelmed with women wanting to join it.

They can see what happens when you try to protect your sex based rights

      1. Dodging the core premise of the argument. Unless of course, you are a devout Christian, and you wish to impose the Bible at gunpoint.

        1. I am an athiest and I am against all violence.
I have never been near a gun in my life

    2. I dont see Parker mentioned in there. Have you got anything we can look at that shows her links to groups like these?

DARK MONEY The story behind the billionaires funding the rise of the Far Right.

        Author is Jane Meyer.

NATIONAL BESTSELLER ONE OF THE NEW YORK TIMES 10 BEST BOOKS OF THE YEAR Who are the immensely wealthy right-wing ideologues shaping the fate of America today? From the bestselling author of The Dark Side, an electrifying work of investigative journalism that uncovers the agenda of this powerful group. In her new preface, Jane Mayer discusses the results of the most recent election and Donald Trump’s victory, and how, despite much discussion to the contrary, this was a huge victory for the billionaires who have been pouring money in the American political system. Why is America living in an age of profound and widening economic inequality? Why have even modest attempts to address climate change been defeated again and again? Why do hedge-fund billionaires pay a far lower tax rate than middle-class workers? In a riveting and indelible feat of reporting, Jane Mayer illuminates the history of an elite cadre of plutocrats–headed by the Kochs, the Scaifes, the Olins, and the Bradleys–who have bankrolled a systematic plan to fundamentally alter the American political system. Mayer traces a byzantine trail of billions of dollars spent by the network, revealing a staggering conglomeration of think tanks, academic institutions, media groups, courthouses, and government allies that have fallen under their sphere of influence. Drawing from hundreds of exclusive interviews, as well as extensive scrutiny of public records, private papers, and court proceedings, Mayer provides vivid portraits of the secretive figures behind the new American oligarchy and a searing look at the carefully concealed agendas steering the nation. Dark Money is an essential book for anyone who cares about the future of American democracy. 10. The irony of biological men attacking biological women at a pro-feminist rally should not be lost on anyone. Well at least the far-right and far-left finally agree on something… they both hate women/feminists.

    1. Its not the left that want to give women the death penalty for seeking abortions.

  11. And as usual brave ACT waited on the sidelines without voice bit with very reactive free speech. What a bunch of rednecks the ACT party are.

  12. In the early part of footage, the  younger man holding the ” go home posie ”  sign has persons standing each side of him ie. he’s in the middle standing still.

There is clearly empty, space to the fore and side of him also showing  others with adequate space walking
    past.

However, to the side of the younger man, across the  grass space some metres away , despite all the other action going on amoung hundreds, and without the younger man knowing , the ‘filmer’ has already positioned themself and has begun focusing in and filming the younger man who is fixed in one place, initially two hands on his sign.
The camera man is not panning around.

The younger man is standing in one place looking ahead of himself.

Then from the right of the footage, to the fore of the man , the older woman comes into shot deliberately advancing and aiming for this particular younger man, no one else. She’s not walking past in the empty space or being blocked. She is intent on this man,  ‘rushes’ across the empty space, crossing some metres, raising her arms and balling her fists as she goes and with her right fist strikes the younger man on his chest first.

How did the mobile phone-camera person coincidently know where to be, choose their rear action direction, who to film and at the right time ?
