  1. Seymore is really muddying the waters with this Treaty Principles Bill. Going to be an interesting 6 months, with Seymore getting plenty of Press Coverage which he will love. However a big waste of time, money and energy. How can you reinterpret or rewrite a document that was written up and signed by the relevant parties 186 years ago, non comprehende ???

  2. Oh the poor old rednecks and river of filthers have been sold another ACT load of rubbish .I had one of their followers staying last week and he has no understanding of what the sea bed and foreshore bill is about .He thought it was all about him being able to go fishing .When I pointed out it was to enable the fishing and mining industries to have free reign to destroy the ocean and plunder his not so secret fishing spot he was shocked .Now he is being sold another lie that all Maori would be eliminated by this bill and he would have more land as well as the seabed .Once a staunch National voter who jumped on the anti Maori band wagon he will be sadly disappointed when this load of rubbish ends up in the bin and he is left with nothing more than he had before the election except a divided Nation .

  3. Just a thought regarding collecting statistics on Maori .Lets for once collect information on the 90% of Maori who dont end up in jail or living in poverty or have bad health .Lets focus on all the Maori teachers, doctors ,lawyers, and business that are providing great services to NZ INC.Then there are all the digger and bulldozer drivers ,builders, drain layers ,and others that do the heavy lifting .Then lets look at all the successful investments Tainui and Niatahu have made in the last 20 years which are driving the economy now and into the future like the inland port at Ruakura .Lets look at how that growth will drive the Maori contribution past the current 20% of GDP while the rest contribute less .A challenge for the anti Maori brigade I know but a real worth while project that Luxon should get Seymoure to use his band of non acheivers to undertake instead of wasting $400 million on a anti maori bill that will end up in the bin .

  4. I feel very uneasy about Luxon and Peters actually stopping this if it gains a lot of momentum.
‘It’s not about fricking targets. It’s about outcomes.’
If the outcome is inspiring even more support for ACT when the bill is debated will National and NZ First renege on previous statements about not supporting it past the first reading?
    Winston is a supreme opportunist.
I would say Luxon’s principles are flexible except I doubt if he has any.
I remember my dad’s comment on previous elections.
“A bit of Maori bashing never hurts the Pakeha vote’

    1. I dont think Luxon has the balls to bin it in the end because he needs the idiot to stay in power which is all he really wants .If he has the fact that he was PM he thinks he will get a job at the world bank or costco ,even if he is a failed PM as he looks more like every day .

  5. Friken Luxton needs to concentrate on getting the economy growing rather than Maaori Bashing, leave that to Seymore and Winston.

  6. Another of ACT’s appalling ministers. It’s either a conflict of interest or straight out corruption. In saying that, I’d suggest both.
