    And please, NZF: no referendum! Pollies are elected as our representatives: to govern. Remember? That means having the courage to pass such laws. Stop with trying to put that trip on the voters.

  3. As I tried to point out long long ago, there was NOTHING wrong with the way things stood, and it always was easy enough to obtain an abortion. I know myself from personal experience.
    How come tens of thousands abortions are performed annually anyway? Was that figure not high enough for your liking?
    NOW , this change in law will allow “abortion” to take place up to FULL TERM pregnancy. That is the sole purpose of the change in law. This has already been happening in USA.
    Does it make you feel good that from now on full term babies will be allowed to be killed ?
    Utterly disgraceful.

  4. financial hardship can and has bn used as a reason for having an abortion and this can be attributed to a disjointed and alienating society in which nz can be. Aotearoa has an arduous journey ahead.
    switzerland has the lowest rate of abortions in the world and failed contraception makes up 2/3 of those.
