Gerry Brownlee used the excuse that “not being immune to events like the one in Orlando” was why the government would extend NZ troops in Iraq by 18 months!
This runs counter to Obama’s dignified response.
Interesting that on RNZ this morning, they ran a story that TPP advocates are hoping that they can push their agenda through the US senate, during it’s lame duck period.
I would have thought, in light of the the primary race, where the citizens of the US made it plainly clear that they do not want this trade agreement in any way shape or form, that RNZ would have framed the story to how advocates are still pushing their ideology on a unwilling public, and by doing so, they show their compete contempt of the citizens and for democracy.

RNZ need a kick in the arse for this as they were repeating this story with “Vigour” and I am with you that RNZ is being manipulated by Government to push TPPA for sure now.
Opposition must take out a court order to seize half of our TVNZ and RNZ for our half share bas 50% of the voters and highlight the real OTHER SIDE OF THESE CURRENT ISSUES RATHER THAN LETTING GOVERNMENT CONTROL ALL OUR PUBLIC MEDIA as they are clearly doing now!!!
