Nicole McKee named ACT deputy leader as party launches election campaign
Cabinet Minister Nicole McKee has been chosen by the ACT caucus as the party’s new deputy leader, succeeding Brooke van Velden.
The announcement was made on Sunday at ACT’s annual general meeting and campaign rally at Shed 10 in Auckland.

Interesting insight into the ACT Party factional powers. Clearly the gun fetish fanatics who enable someone like McKee into power is a larger influencer than the Zionist Apologists (although there must eb a lot of overlap).
If the Zionist Apologists were a larger faction, Simon Court would be Deputy, thankfully our Gun nutters are still a bigger block of influence inside the most right wing Party than Israel is.

ACT campaigning to halve number of Government departments, and limit Jobseekers’ spending
David Seymour returned to well trodden campaign grounds for his ACT Party, focusing on cutting Wellington’s bureaucracy and limiting what beneficiaries can spend money on.
On Sunday, he told supporters there should be just 19 departments – down from the current 43. and he said there should only be 18 ministers, down from 28.

The fact that McKee has become deputy leader of ACT shows, just like National, they are short of “real talent”. She would have to be the worst advert for a political party MP ever. So Seymour and Luxon are struggling to find competent, acceptable candidates. Have they asked themselves why? Their policies are BS and they never stop lying. It’s getting too much, even for the ‘hear no evil – see no evil’ RW enablers. But yes, the light at the end of the tunnel is Simon Court didn’t get that job! Imagine his ego growing any larger or more twisted? There is only so much voters can take!
