NZ Super is the promise that if you work, pay tax and survive this rigged little property casino long enough, the state won’t abandon you in old age. Now the same propertied boomers who enjoyed cradle-to-grave support want younger generations to pay twice and receive less.
Propertied Boomers love property speculation, cradle-to-the-grave subsidisation of their entire lives, cruises, snow-white hair and more property speculation.
Gen X were the first user-payers generation and every generation that has come after us has had to be user-pays.
Listening to the ruling class tell us that we have to dismantle our super DESPITE getting fucked by user-pays is just an obscenity.
