Luxon hiding his quarterly KPI reports

Well, well, well…
Government scraps its quarterly action plans
The government appears to have scrapped its quarterly action plans, after not releasing one so far this quarter.
At the start of the term, the prime minister released the things the government planned to do in its first 100 days.
Once that was completed, the government moved to quarterly plans, starting in April 2024.
“Having a clear plan with specific actions and timeframes for delivery creates momentum and drives focus,” Christopher Luxon said at the time.
Each plan would contain about 30 to 40 actions within the government’s three pillars of ‘rebuild the economy and ease the cost of living,’ ‘restore law and order,’ and ‘deliver better public services.’
Its most recent one from October 2025, for example, contained actions to introduce the planning legislation that will replace the Resource Management Act, pass the legislation to enable time of use charging, and release the English and Maths curriculum for Years 0-10.
Some commitments in the plans were more vague, such as “take policy decisions” around legislation that would appear in a future plan, or “raise the energy” of international relationships to signal Luxon would be taking an overseas trip.
Others were simply a product of timing, such as “deliver a Budget,” which happens the same time every year.

…wow, when even Luxon’s handlers think his dead eyed and bland KPI CEO lists have become barf inducing, you know shiz just got real.
Not that they had much to crow about.
They were warned in 2024 that their draconian welfare reforms would push an extra 7000 to 13 000 children into poverty.
The child poverty stats out this week showed 23 600 more kids in poverty.
How do you champion that?
‘Yay – we were warned we might push 13000 kids into poverty, but we managed 23600 – round of applause for us’.
People loath Luxon because he reminds them of every rich management type they’ve come to experience in NZ.
Smug with all the false confidence of a tall man.
Many National MPs are toast this election BECAUSE of Luxon’s weak and chinless personality.
Dumping his quarterly management approach to Government highlights how his handlers are jettisoning the CEO KPI talking points for bland word salads that replace the data bullet points.
The truth is that they could get him smoking a joint and dressed in a Bowling Shirt and he would still be uptight and unlikable.
The reality this election is that National could easily sink into the 20s with Winston taking the reactionary racists, David Seymour taking the reactionary racists who need the fig leaf of libertarianism and Blue/Green National voters to TOP who are revolted by what Luxon is allowing NZ\F and ACT to get away with.
