54 more killed and 305 wounded

Since dawn, Israeli air strikes, missile launches and gunfire on homes, as well as medical and other facilities, have resulted in 54 dead and 305 wounded. Civil Defence crews retrieved two more bodies from underneath bomb-damaged property, bringing the total number now killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, to at least 54,981. The total wounded is now at least 126,920. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 91 and, that of those injured, is more than 207. A UN report states that, as of 14 January 2025, around 70% of those killed in Gaza were women and children.

West Bank

Palestinian Monitoring Group — Since midnight on 07 October 2023, Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure around the whole of the West Bank, preventing people (even including permit-holders) from entering both Jerusalem City as well as Israel, other than for especially-negotiated exceptions. Permanent military checkpoints impose severe travel restrictions within the Occupied West Bank.

Israeli Army attack – home demolition orders: Jenin – Israeli forces, firing live ammunition, continued their storming of the city as well as the refugee camp, delivered demolition notices against more than 100 homes in several refugee camp neighbourhoods.

Home invasion and terrorism: Hebron – dawn, Israelis, from the Susya Occupation settlement in Yatta, stormed the home of one resident, Muhammad Makhamreh, and destroyed the fence surrounding his land.

Israeli Army mosque violation: Jerusalem – the Israeli Occupation forced residents, in the Ein Ayoub area of ​the Silwan neighbourhood, to demolish a part of the local mosque.

Occupation settler agricultural sabotage and population–control: Bethlehem – morning, two settlers, one driving a bulldozer in the Wadi al-Biyar, closed all agricultural access roads south of al-Khadr, preventing farmers from reaching their land in the areas of Wadi al-Shami, Faghur, al-Aqta’ and Umm Faruna.
