  1. Real Kiwis hate privatisation because they have eyes and can see USA.

  2. Watch the multimedia propaganda onslaught over the next few years expounding the ‘benefits’ of privatisation, all of which have been debunked by real ongoing evidence as seen in numerous countries, including NZ, over the last 40 years. There is no argument for privatisation and this is purely unfinished business, shifting whats left of Public services and property into the hands of the wealthy for a song. Example: The NZ Post Office was defunded by the Lange Labour Government and made a state owned enterprise just prior to privatisation in 1990, and just before cellphones and the internet explosion. It remained a monopoly for the next decade (skimming off massive quarterly profits)but when it came to upgrading from copper to fibre, the Government stepped in to fund it. Privatisation = privatisation of profits, socialisation of losses. Private companies do not reinvest profits back into improving the company/service. This is what they expect the government and hence, the taxpayer , to do. Look what happened to NZ Rail when it was sold for a song (to merchant bankers who were involved in arranging the sale!!!!!). Look out for major corruption in the privatisation process as well. Consumers can expect, monopolies (not competition as touted), huge price inflation, run down assets (asset stripping) and the worst outcomes imaginable- just look at the basket case known as the UK.
