  1. There are problems with state housing that only state housing tenants can solve. If they keep looking to government – the present government, the previous government, or the government to come – they will always be disappointed. The solution lies in local State House Tenant Unions who can deal with “unruly tenants”, build community consciousness, create solidarity and make Kainga Ora properly maintain the properties or failing that organise a right strike and do the job themselves. Nothing else will work.

  2. So, the next door neighbours will no longer have the problem of unruly, intimidating neighbours, but someone will. They won’t vanish into thin air.
But that’s what this govt. is good at. Getting people off their books so they can point to nice, clean, shiny looking statistics and say, ‘Look at that, We fixed it!’
‘Labour couldn’t fix it, but we did!’

  3. The stance of the Greens on this policy is hopefully the reason they will not grow in popularity with normal people .Normal people except there are some bad arse people out there who do not want to join hands and sing come by hah. There are gang affiliates who know they can call on if anyone fights back.
To those that say children will suffer they already are with bad parents from who they should be removed in an effort to break the cycle of poverty.
