  1. Bomber. It’s extremely disingenuous to suggest farming has minimal value by referring to the direct GDP figures. First of all these figures don’t capture the processing part of agriculture (comes under manufacturing), and secondly primary industries make up 80% of our exports by dollar value. Basically if you take them out of the picture, everything from overseas becomes much much more expensive which cripples the rest of the economy.
