The Oceans and Fisheries Minister is unapologetically pro-commercial, saying his reforms are all about unleashing the sector’s economic potential. But Jones’ actions have infuriated recreational fishers – especially those who chase marlin. Michael Morrah talks to those who accuse Jones of favouring his industry ‘mates’ and hears the minister’s typically forthright response.
