Wait – so Trump is a pirate now???

Trump expands Venezuela sanctions as Maduro decries new ‘era of piracy’

Six more oil supertankers added to sanctions list, as well as members of Maduro’s extended family, amid rising tensions following tanker seizure

When asked what Trump intends to do with the oil from the tanker he seized, he just shrugged and said he’d keep it?!?!

WTF?

He’s a pirate now?

I am increasingly fearful that Trump will invade Venezuela.

In his book, The Room where it happened, Neoliberal Hawk John Bolton goes into detail at the attempted coup 2019 by Trump against Venezuela and as Trump ratchets up an enormous fleet off the coast.

It’s a fascinating insight into how deeply involved Trump’s first term was in the attempted coup against Maduro and provides some insight into Trump’s current thinking.

Trump’s concerns as outlined by Bolton were Venezuela empowering China, Cuba and Russia. It was also to appease the Venezuelan-American community who strategically had all moved to Florida to provide a powerful Republican voting block.

Trump’s desire in 2019 was for military action which bewildered even a war monger like Bolton…

“Trump insisted he wanted military option for Venezuela and then keep it because “it’s really part of the United States”.

…Bolton said this aggression surprised him, but it would get worse…

“Trump, as usual, was having trouble distinguishing responsible measures to protect legitimate American interests from what amounted to vast overreaching of the sort no other government, especially a democratic one, would even consider.

…when Bolton is the voice of reason, you are in deep trouble.

With all restraints off the second term of Trump, a Venezuelan invasion almost looks certain.

Let’s be clear, this is not about stopping Fentanyl coming to America by declaring Madura narco terrorist!

Venezuela is a cocaine traffic lane, not Fentanyl.

The killings of boats suspected of trafficking are extra judicial assignations with no legal defence and Trump’s recent pardon of ex-Honduras leader, President Juan Orlando Hernandez, for drug trafficking makes the whole claim against Maduro a hypocritical irony…

Trump to pardon ex-Honduras leader serving drug trafficking sentence in US

…it would be insane to actually invade Venezuela, but Trump seems impervious to reason.

I think Trump is stupid enough to invade Venezuela.

The thin skinned Orange Fascist now wants to have all social media from the last 5 years checked before you can even enter his Kingdom now…

NZ and Australia should push back on Trump’s intrusive visa rules – Fran O’Sullivan

  • The US plans to require tourists from 42 countries, including New Zealand and Australia, to disclose social media activity from the past five years.

…so much for Free Speech!

This social media purity test for those entering America alongside the new anti-Trans vibe are all having a deeply negative impact on American Tourism…

…Trump is showing the rest of the World what America really is and the rest of the world are recoiling in disgust.

  1. > Venezuela is a cocaine traffic lane, not Fentanyl
No coke coming in from Venezuela- whatever is coming to the states comes from the right-wing death squads the CIA organized in Colombia.

  2. Not long after 9/11 and as result of the treatment of Brasilian nationals entering the US (and for the rest of us as well) Brasil set up special lanes at passport and customs for US passport holders. At these gates the Yanks were afforded the same courteous treatment that the American border people were dishing out to the rest of the world.
It was amusing to see the American travellers reaction.

  3. The attack on free speech – the further erosion of free speech – is the real issue here. It is no coincidence that blatant tyranny is on the rise at the same time as free speech and the ability to push back against tyranny is both under attack and or drawing an ever increasing government backlash against these actions.

And one has to wonder if the USA is rubbing its unbridled power in our faces by pardoning a drug lord in one instance while using a concern for drugs as a pretext for attacking another country, at the same time.

Interesting take on this attack I heard recently, that being, the United States of Israel will go to war with Iran soon. This will result in Iran blocking the Strait of Hormuz, which in turn will heavily impact the flow of oil, thus a new supply is needed…enter into this equation the country with the biggest, known, oil reserves in the world – Venezuela. As such, an actual boots on the ground attack, as opposed to just an air attack coupled with a CIA induced civil war within Venezuela, may actually take place after all.

Parlous times for us all, but for Venezuelans and South Americans, even moreso.

  4. I want a peace medal so I will invade Venezuela and when I have taken all the oil I will call a halt and make it look like a peace deal just like the ones I have failed to get in Gazza and Ukraine. What a shit leader I am .Then the people will demand I serve another 4 years so I can sleep it off ,hard work all this creating conflict through out the world .

  5. Trump cannot be viewed as sane! He is clinically mad and should be in an institution. That someone of such dubious calibre has been allowed to be President of the USA is outrageous in the extreme. Personally I’m surprised he is still there. He sure is pushing dangerous buttons and making lots of enemies, but is “so up himself” he can’t see the likely outcomes. Hope is all we have left at present; hope that the wheel will turn and sanity will return.

  6. Three things to bear in mind:
1.) Trump is the purest expression yet of the true soul of America – which is the frenzy for money disguised as the pursuit of freedom.
2.) The political right has never cared about freedom of speech – they champion it when it is to their advantage to do so, they suppress it when they have the power to do so.
3.) Don’t go near the USA if you are able to avoid it – the contrast between how pleasant so many individual Americans actually are and the total insanity of the society as a whole is extremely difficult to cope with.
