Is it antisemitic to be against training dogs to sexually assault Palestinian prisoners?

Before I begin, let’s be very clear there are different standards and expectations between Hamas and the Israeli Military.

Hamas is a terrorist resistance using irregular guerrillas who don’t confirm with the legalities of ware.

The Israeli Military is the official army of Israel, which is a Democracy and as such have vastly more legal and moral obligations placed upon them then a terrorist organisation.

The;s why their disproportionate response to October 7th goes beyond war crime into genocide.

John Minto has written a devastating critique of many of the lies Israel has spawned to justify their violence…

• Most of the victims were either Israeli soldiers and police or army reservists. One analysis concluded “A total of 1,269 individuals were affected, predominantly military males aged 18-25”
• Many Israeli civilians were killed by Israeli military commanders adopting the “Hannibal directive” whereby it is better to kill or risk killing Israeli war captives than having them taken hostage or prisoner. Orders to attack any vehicle heading to Gaza meant hundreds of cars were attacked, killing hundreds of Palestinians and Israelis alike
• After the resistance fighters broke out from Gaza there was a “second wave” of people who came through the fence and it appears this group were responsible for most of the war crimes committed on that day rather than fighters from the highly-disciplined resistance groups
• There was no widespread sexual assault committed by the Palestinian resistance fighters against Israeli women and children as claimed by Israel
• There were no beheaded Israeli babies, no foetuses ripped from slaughtered mothers, no children raped – all claims made by the Israeli propaganda machine
• Israel has taken more than 9,000 counter hostages (held without charge or trial) from Gaza and the Occupied West Bank since October 7^th
• Human Shields – While the Israeli army has always stated that human shields are “a key pillar of Hamas’s terror operations”, it has not provided credible proof for its allegations which are denied by Hamas. Israel repeatedly pushes this lie as a way of justifying the horrific civilian death toll from its indiscriminate bombing of civilian areas such as schools, hospitals etc
• Attacks on Aid convoys. Here is a UN envoy report on the lack of evidence Israel has provided to back up its claims.

The terrible list of cruelty that the Israeli Military has meted out manages to shock on levels beyond any sense of proportion:

• The shooting of children by snipers in the head.
• The widespread sexual torture inside Israeli detention centres.
• The pinning of soft toys as trophies from Palestinian children that the bulldozers use when flattening homes.
• The dropping of military grade weaponry on Palestinians in tents, hospitals, homes, schools with the false justification that Hamas was using human shields so shooting through civilians is somehow moral.
• The heavy uranium munitions used and the toxic waste the bombing campaign has forever poisoned GAZA with.
• The brutal zionist settlers violence in the West Bank.
• Use of the Hannibal Directive.
• The rape of a Palestinian teenager in prison filmed on CCTV.
• The use of hunger as a weapon.
• The group punishment mentality.

However, the latest allegations of Israeli abuse is so beyond even that list it makes one gasp when there is no more oxygen left.

One thing I try not to think about very often is how many reports we’ve been seeing about Israeli prison guards training dogs to rape Palestinian captives in torture camps like Sde Teiman.

Drop Site News has a new write-up about a testimony from a journalist published by the Palestinian Journalists Protection Center. The reporter says that during his 20 months of hell in Israeli prisons he was electrocuted, beaten, starved, and sexually assaulted on film. He also says he was sexually assaulted by a “trained dog” — just the latest in a long string of such allegations coming out of Israel’s notorious network of torture prisons.

Last month Novara Media published an article titled “Israeli Prison Guards Are Using Dogs to Rape Palestinians, Former Detainees Say,” based on information collected by the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights. The Electronic Intifada published an article titled “Palestinians recount gang rapes by Israeli soldiers, dogs” based on the same testimonies.

…the Israeli’s have trained dogs to rape Palestinian prisoners???

I don’t even know what to say anymore.

I think when you commit war crimes so extreme that they are technically genocide, it warps you.

I think the extreme hate needed to justify the Occupation of the Palestinian people mutates your soul.

I think the abuser damages themself as much as they damage the abused.

Crisis looms in Israel over ultra-Orthodox conscription bill

An impending crisis over conscripting ultra-Orthodox Jews into the Israeli army is threatening to undermine Israel’s government and split the country.

Public opinion on the issue has shifted dramatically in Israel after two years of war, and this is now perhaps the most explosive political risk facing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Lawmakers are currently considering a draft bill to end the exemption granted to ultra-Orthodox men enrolled in full-time religious study, established when the State of Israel was declared in 1948.

That exemption was ruled illegal by Israel’s High Court of Justice almost 20 years ago. Temporary arrangements to continue it were formally ended by the court last year, forcing the government to begin drafting the community.

Some 24,000 draft notices were issued last year, but only around 1,200 ultra-Orthodox – or Haredi – draftees reported for duty, according to military testimony given to lawmakers.

…hilariously the Orthodox Jew position is that they are helping with the war and occupation by praying which seems a stretch.

The hate generated by committing genocide is so extreme that almost 40% of Israelis want to annex Gaza while the Government attempt to annex the West Bank.

Israelis need to heal as badly as the Palestinians.

Without real meaningful peace for Palestinians, Israelis merely doom their children to the same old hates from today and project them into a never ending sorrow of tomorrow.
