‘Negotiate with your landlord’ – Housing Minister’s message to renters
Housing Minister Chris Bishop is encouraging tenants to negotiate a cheaper deal as rent prices drop.
Firstly, all renters know their Landlords are greedy grasping arseholes who will never lower the rent.
Secondly, why is the dickhead who rents from his in-laws lecturing us?

The hypocritical Bishop seems unable to fathom that we can easily ‘work it out’. And some are seriously pushing for him to replace the lack-lustre, rambling, Luxon as PM! God forbid, replacing one fool with another has to be the final insult to our intelligence! BUT there is no-one else! The rest of this ragtag bunch is worse, yes imagine that, WORSE. House prices are falling in many areas which would eliminate the CGT that Labour was going to pay for the Doctors visits for all citizens rich or poor .Rents are falling and offers are being made to attract new tenants.

That is just as insane as Bolger telling everyone who will sign individual contracts under the ECA that they can negotiate their contracts and pay.

Bishop knew this is bullshit because most of his colleagues are landlords and most of them impose huge rents and negotiation doesn’t come into it.

Sure negotiate with the landord. Meanwhile property managers are using collusion price fixing software that recommends leaving properties vacant to maintain high rents. Never heard of a land lord dropping the rent .

He can always negotiate a better rent with his new landlord.
