Two more people have been killed. The total number now killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, has risen to at least 70,112 and the total wounded is at least 170,986. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 89 and, that of those injured, is more than 217. A UN report states that, as of 14 January 2025, around 70% of those killed in Gaza were women and children.
