10mo ago Looking at their About Us page, it’s a bit strange they call it a search engine. The questions are answered by a large language model that also consults their community’s posts. It’s not clear if it even looks at external websites, can direct users to credible medical information, etc. Their goal of making information more accessible is good obviously, but the implementation is iffy.

9mo ago They claim to “remove the bias” from searching but that’s not a claim any person or entity can make. It’s disingenuous to pretend otherwise. It gives you a little LLM generated summary of the answer to your question and then gives you some links to explore. I do appreciate that the results aren’t just the websites that paid to come up in the search results like with doogle. It’s still biased, it’s just biased in trying to appeal to women, whatever that means to the creators of this thing. Based on aesthetics alone, it seems geared to women under 30 or so.
