Oh dear – you have touched a nerve there Martyn. While I would never spit in anyone’s food or even suggest it, what Winston has dismissed/ignored are the actual facts! He has let all the principled people down and run with the “it’s all about me” unprincipled ones. Don’t ever doubt he doesn’t know what he did was ‘deplorably’ weak and self-serving, but that’s his problem and one he won’t ever be allowed to move on from, just like Luxon’s ‘bottom feeder’ comment. What comes out of your mouth defines the person you are and Winston already knows he has got this horribly wrong, hence his defensive response. Winston needs to to OWN HIS problem as it won’t go away – ever!
Winston will never understand that the issue is that politics should be the realm of the mature, experienced middle-aged who are forced to step down at age 69.
He knows that he is unpopular and deserves to have people express their displeasure at his actions so of course he is worried. He has always blamed someone else rather than admitting that he is the problem though so you will probably get a bit of stick from the ignorant old fool for a while until something else upsets him.

I wouldn’t trust Winston Peters and he lost Our votes after his Betrayal of NZers for HIS OWN Self-Gain and Ego Trip in 1996.
Back then and in the lead up to the 1996 election Peters swore and Ironically in the colours of Black and Blue to Never Enter into a Coalition government with National. But that is Exactly what he did after the Votes were Counted.

No-one can Ever Trust Winston Peters and the fact even a Fool Like Luxon has been taken in by the guy makes me ponder as to whether Luxon really is a Credible Politician or leader/manager. Every part of me thinks Luxon isn’t too Bright or Well Educated. Whatever way it is it shows up Luxon as Looking Stupid with his Constant Missing In Action actions.
And so whilst Luxon does nothing about Peters is it likely in Due Course Luxon will give Peters a Knighthood in return for Peters’ and NZ First “support” of a coalition that is looking more and more Out of Its Depth and a Ranting Foreign Minister who Sounds More like Donald Trump as Time Goes By???!!!
Meanwhile as Luxon, Peters and Seymour look more like Clowns in a Three Ringed Circus how many Palestinians are being murdered whilst Peters claims bricks are being thrown at his house??!!!!
