Sure, it's the Left that is espousing political violence

I find it difficult to take Republicans seriously over their Charlie Kirk claims the Left are espousing Political Violence when it was Trump who attempted an actual insurrection and instigated political violence to over throw the election result…

YouTube to pay Trump $33.46m following January 6 Capitol riots ban

YouTube has agreed to pay $US22 million ($33.46 million) to US President Donald Trump as part of a settlement to multiple plaintiffs who were banned from the platform following the January 6 riots at the Capitol.

According to documents filed in federal court in California, Trump’s $US22 million will be contributed to the Trust for the National Mall and $US2.5 million will go to other plaintiffs, including the American Conservative Union.

Trump sued parent company Alphabet and other social media companies after the platforms suspended his accounts in 2021.

It follows a simple settlement from other sites that banned the president.

…that he has now managed to get payments for being banned from Social Media for attempting to violently over throw his own Democracy makes any justification by Republicans over Charlie Kirk’s death meaningless.

  1. It’s also ridiculous for Republicans to claim that Kirk was a champion of free speech. He would regularly have screeners filter out from his events anyone who was going to ask questions about ‘israeli’ attacks on America like the USS Liberty attack, or the activities of the ‘dancing Israelis’ of Urban Moving Systems, Mossad agents who photographed themselves flicking lighters in front of the towers on 2001-09-10 and who were then observed celebrating by American citizens on 2001-09-11 after their patsies hit the towers.

  2. Give him his proper name, “Charles James Kirk”, in place of the diminutive and suddenly the degree of public sympathy for the man plummets. Which shows how trite and ill-informed the discussion around “Charlie Kirk” has been.
