Merciless blitz on starving Gaza — growing numbers
of dead and injured

58 more killed and 308 wounded
Since dawn, Israeli air strikes, missile–launches and gunfire on homes, as well as medical and other facilities, have resulted in 58 dead and 308 wounded. The total number now killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, has risen to at least 62,744and the total wounded is at least 158,259. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 91 and, that of those injured, is more than 230. A UN report states that, as of 14 January 2025, around 70% of those killed in Gaza were women and children.

No more statements of condemnation. No more “keeping dialogue open” to allow trickles of aid deliveries. No more complicity in ethnic cleansing and genocide. We call on every government in the world to urgently suspend trade and sanction Israel NOW.
The horrors are only growing. Israel murdered five journalists in Gaza who were sleeping in a tent outside a hospital. They were some of the last remaining Press left in Gaza – voices Israel wanted silenced. Our leaders respond with yet another “statement of condemnation” – as Israel pushes ahead with a complete invasion of the Gaza Strip and more children starve to death every single day.
In the past 72 hours, over 70,000 of us signed an Open Letter* demanding every government urgently suspend trade and sanction Israel NOW. And now we’re going to turn that letter into a massive global pressure campaign – including powerful newspaper ads around the world – to push every government to act ahead of a crucial EU Foreign Ministers’ meeting at the end of this month.
We have had enough. Enough of watching millions of Palestinians starved, mutilated and killed, while the world shrugs. Enough empty words of ‘concern’ and ‘condemnation’ from our governments that give cover to genocide!
Now Israel is preparing to invade all of Gaza City. Bombs are flattening neighbourhoods, as families starve. And while a few governments are starting to take action by suspending arms sales to Israel, it’s too little, too late. We need real accountability: suspend trade, block arms, and sanction Israel NOW.

Israeli Army attack – refugee camp: Jenin – 12:20, Israeli Occupation forces continued their storming, firing live ammunition, of the city and its refugee camp. Two more people were taken prisoner.
Israeli Army attack – refugee camps – home invasions: Tulkarem – the Israeli Army, firing live ammunition, continue to storm the city as well as the Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps,invading and occupying homes.
Home invasions: Jerusalem – 17:30, Israeli Occupation forces raided the town of Bir Nabala and searched a number of homes.
Home invasions in refugee camp: Nablus – 01:25–06:35, Israeli soldiers raided the Balata refugee camp, taking prisoner three people.
Home invasions – 1 beaten-up: Salfit – 00:25–02:25, Israeli Occupation forces raided al-Zawiya, invading a number of homes, and severely beating-up a resident: Hamza Ismail Shaqir.
Israeli police and settlers’ mosque violation: Jerusalem – 08:00, Israeli settlers, escorted by Occupation police, invaded the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and molested worshippers.
Israeli Army agricultural sabotage for settlement development: Ramallah – for the fourth consecutive day, Israeli Occupation forces continued to bulldoze and uproot hundreds of olive trees in the village of al-Mughayir, for the building of a new settlement road.
Israeli Army violence – injury and hospitalisation: Nablus – 21:15, Israeli troops, at the al-Muraba’a checkpoint, near the entrance Tal village, beat-up and hospitalised a man: Aref Nafez Aref Nar.
Israeli Army – military land–grabs: Salfit – 14:00, the Israeli Army issued an order, for its own seizure of over 2,000 hectares belonging to the villages of Deir Ballut and Kafr al-Dik.
Occupation settlement growth: Hebron – morning, Israeli settlers at the Adorayim, Bnei Hefer and Mitzpe Yair Occupation settlement outposts, south of Bani Na’im, installed dozens of mobile homes, in the process of enlarging the settlements, and erected a large tower in the area.
Occupation settler stoning: Ramallah – 13:55, Israeli Occupation settlers invaded the Khalayel area, in the village of al-Mughayir, and stoned an agricultural property, terrorising family members.
Occupation settler population–control and agricultural sabotage: Tubas – morning, Israeli settlers forced off a farmer from his land, in the al-Farisiya area of the North Jordan Valley, to prevent him working it in the upcoming irrigation season.
Occupation settler population–control: Salfit – 10:20, Occupation settlers barricaded, with concrete blocks, an agricultural road leading to an area, west of Kafr al-Dik.
Occupation settler agricultural sabotage – plunder: Salfit – 17:25, Israeli settlers invaded agricultural land, in the west of Kafr al-Dik, and seized agricultural equipment from inside a barn.
Occupation settler terrorism: Jericho – 15:55, Israeli Occupation settlers stormed the al-Auja Waterfall area and terrorised residents, while raiding around their homes.
Occupation settler stoning – injury and agricultural sabotage: Hebron – 10:20, stone-throwing Israelis, from the Karmei Tzur Occupation settlement, invaded the Khirbet al-Qat area, north of Halhul, attacking grape harvesters and hospitalising two of them: Mustafa Abdel Qader Melhez (age 60) and Ayed Yousef Melhem.
Occupation settler land-grab: Hebron – 10:35, Israelis, from the Havat Ma’on settlement outpost, built a road between the the Hamra and Masafer areas of Yatta town.
Occupation settler agricultural sabotage: Hebron – 11:05, Israeli Occupation settlers bulldozed crops growing on Ar-Rihiya village land.
Occupation settler water crime: Hebron – 11:45, Israeli settlers polluted wells and water- supply, east of Sa’ir, by swimming and even washing their livestock in them.
