Merciless blitz on defenceless Gaza — growing numbers of dead and injured
Victims 03 April – 04 April 2025:
86 killed — 287 wounded
Since dawn, Israeli air strikes and gunfire on homes, as well as medical and other facilities, resulted in the death of 86 residents and the wounding of 287 others. The total number killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, is at least 50,609 with the total wounded at least 115,063. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza since 7 October, 2023 is at least 92 and, that of those injured, is more than 211.
West Bank
Palestinian Monitoring Group — Since midnight on 07 October 2023, Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure around the whole of the West Bank, preventing people (even including permit-holders) from entering both Jerusalem City as well as Israel, other than for especially-negotiated exceptions. Permanent military checkpoints impose severe travel restrictions within the Occupied West Bank.
Israeli Army attack – home destroyed – 1 resident wounded: Jerusalem – dawn, Israeli Occupation forces stormed the village of Jaba’ and demolished a home, wounding a resident: Khalil Amin al-Obeidi.
Israeli Army attack – 4 wounded: Jerusalem – 10:35, Israeli forces opened fire, from the Qalandiya military checkpoint towards people making their way to work across the Green Line, wounding four people: Ahmad Ghassan Shalaldeh, Wahib Jamal Zabayneh, Diaa Ghassan Izzat Shalaldeh and Alan Ayoub Jaradat.
Israeli Army attack – 2 wounded: Ramallah – 22:50, the Israeli Army, firing live ammunition, stormed the town of Ni’lin, wounding two residents: Suhaib Fahmi Surur and Osama Salah Surur.
Israeli Army attack – on refugee camp – 1 taken prisoner: Jenin – Israeli troops continued their storming of the city and its refugee camp, taking prisoner yet another resident.
Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded and taken prisoner: Jenin – 18:10, the Israeli Army opened fire from the Jalameh checkpoint, wounding a man, Abdul Rahman Iyad Abu al-Rab, then taking him prisoner.
Israeli Army attack – 1 killed: Jenin – 02:30, Israeli troops opened fire on and killed a man, Hussein Jamil Hardan, as he drove along on Nazareth Street.
Israeli Army attack – homes invaded – infrastructure destroyed: Tulkarem – the Israeli military, continuing their storming of the city as well as the Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps, opened fire while raiding homes, bulldozing streets and destroying infrastructure in the Iktaba suburb.
Israeli Army attack: Nablus – Israeli soldiers, firing live ammunition, stormed and patrolled Qaryut village.
Israeli Army attack – 1 youngster shot and killed: Bethlehem – 22:20, Israeli Occupation forces shot and killed a 17-year-old youth, Yousef Bakr Za’oul, on the bypass road near the village of Husan. Israeli troops seized and removed the youngster’s body.
Israeli Army attack – homes invaded in refugee camp: Hebron – 08:45-12:00, Israeli forces, firing live ammunition, stormed the al-Fawar refugee camp and invaded a number of homes.

Home invasions and demolition – 80-year-old man beaten-up: Bethlehem – 08:00, Israeli soldiers, demolishing an apartment building, a car-wash facility and a shop, in the Umm Rukba area of al-Khadr, beat-up an 80-year-old man, Abdul Ahmed Al-Seer, leaving him with a severe head injury.

Israeli police and settlers’ mosque violation: Jerusalem – 08:00, Israeli settlers, escorted by Occupation police, invaded the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and molested worshippers.
Israeli Army – beating-up and hospitalisation: Jenin – 19:35, Ihab Muhammad Atiq, a resident of Silat al-Dahr, was admitted to Jenin Governmental Hospital, after being severely beaten-up by Israeli Occupation forces.

Israeli Army – population–control: Tulkarem – 10:00, the Israeli Army took prisoner a man, Taher Ayman Barhoush, when he reported, as ordered, for interrogation at Israeli Military Intelligence.
