When will Trump demand a Nuclear Ship visit to NZ?

The speed with which Winston sacked Phil Goff highlights how terrified New Zealand is of the Mad Orange King.

Hand on heart, you all know in your Sul that Trump ha no idea NZ has banned nuclear ships.

The moment he is no longer focused on the Ukraine, his Eye of Mordor will move over China’s recent excursions into the Pacific.

Knowing Trump he will want some over the top symbolic response, Gunboat Diplomacy Plus and the millisecond he’s told NZ doesn’t allow nuclear ships here, he will immediately want to because the idea of forcing us to take his Nuclear Carrier while he is staring Xi in the eyes is the exact Alpha Male pissing contest he desperately seeks.

Hands up who thinks Luxon will stand his ground or fold when Trump calls?

Actual photo of our PM on the phone to Trump: “Hey, I just met you, and this is crazy
But here’s my number, so call me maybe
It’s hard to look right at you, baby
But here’s my number, so call me maybe
Hey, I just met you, and this is crazy
But here’s my number, so call me maybe
And all the other boys try to chase me
But here’s my number, so call me maybe

  1. Trump has already dropped a nuclear bomb on the stock market. I hope you Trump lovers get smashed because you were fucking warned that he doesn’t know what he is doing. Think of his bankruptcies.

  2. Thought I would repost this usefull summation by Richard Hamilton –

This isn’t to do with the government’s “ability” to provide for the various sectors and communities it is withdrawing help from. It has no desire to provide for them. They can all wither and die like the hundreds of homeless they have thrown onto the street.
    Who cares? Not Christopher Luxon.
Their aim is to privatise whatever services they can and dump the rest to the extent they can get away with it. This is an all out assault on our country’s welfare state. It is anti social and murderous.

The modern version of Machiavelli’s “The Prince”, (an outline of how the unscrupulous gain and maintain power), is “The Invisible Doctrine” by George Monbiot and Peter Hutchison, outlining the rise of Neo-liberalism and the methods used over the past 40 odd years to pave the way to power and wealth using mass indoctrination, disinformation through manipulation of the media, infiltration of educational institutions, misuse of psychology in the devising of ways to deceive and manipulate the citizenry and so on.
Conspiracy? Absolutely, 100%, prime example of it in the flesh.

While our National Service Broadcaster is pumping out Sport and Pop music, giggling and generally wittering the time away, the country is being pulled apart, sold off and its people robbed of the security and wealth they had built-up over the generations.
This government is about as corruptly dishonest and dangerous as it could get without firing a bullet.
It is time we got rid of them.

  4. I doubt that Peters dumping Goff was due to his being terrified of Trump. And Trump’s had much worse criticisms made of him than to be particularly upset about Goff’s misstep.

  5. Trump can send any ship he likes if it takes Luxon away with it. Luxon’s sloppy “Lame-o “ comment about the WCC’s decision making process, was not just a totally inappropriate use of slang, it was a colloquially incorrect usage and he needs to shape up or ship out.

  6. the US is basically a rogue state at the moment. it has shredded all historical allegiances and should be seen as a threat to democracy not unlike China and Russia.

  7. It is a silly stand in this dangerous world and not worth losing a trade deal over. China is the sleeping tiger and USA will be our defense if required
Trump knew within 30 mins he was being criticized by an ex Australian PM. He would know from his last time in power about the nuclear ban. He had little to do with NZ as Jacinda was in charge but this time the area is more important from a strategic point of view.

  8. Gun Boat Diplomacy

    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:

William Allen Rogers’s 1904 cartoon recreates the big-stick diplomacy of U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt……

    Etymology

The term “gunboat diplomacy” comes from the nineteenth-century period of imperialism,[2] when Western powers – from Europe and the United States – would intimidate other, less powerful entities into granting concessions through a demonstration of Western superior military capabilities, usually represented by their naval assets…..

So the answer to the question; “When will Trump demand a Nuclear Ship visit to NZ?”

Soon after a nuclear armed US War Ship visits the Cook Islands to warn off the Chinese.

  9. New Zealand the only port of call in the American Lake not open to the US navy.

    ‘The American Lake?

    Yes it’s a thing

    Governing the American Lake

    by Hal M. Friedman

Published by: Michigan State University Press

    https://msupress.org/9780870137945/governing-the-american-lake/

In this carefully crafted and meticulously researched book, Hal M. Friedman contends that US fears after World War II led the nation into military domination of the Pacific Ocean, turning it into an “American lake”….
…..With the United States unofficially claiming jurisdiction over a vast ocean and all of its human occupants, there were titanic clashes of opinion about how to exercise this newly-declared power. Working from primary sources, including declassified materials, Friedman describes the many conflicts between military and civilian services in the period immediately following the war. He provides an indepth analysis of the policies that were thrashed out, often after intense interdepartmental infighting, to turn the Pacific into an American lake. In addition, he investigates the civil administration of Guam and American Samoa, along with the governing of the islands of Micronesia and the Ryukyus, which were formerly occupied by the Japanese.
While a few scholars have studied post-war American imperialism, only Friedman has investigated the bureaucracy of policymaking and its consequences on Pacific islands and peoples with this much detail. Not only does Friedman examine the bureaucratic history, but he also illuminates the equally important impacts of Americanization that accompanied the imposition of US ideas about government, economics, and culture far beyond mainland America. This is a revealing examination of how the US took over the Pacific Ocean after World War II….

Donald Trump is unlikely to want to share domination of the American Lake with China. He’s not a sharing kind of Guy!

  10. It wouldn’t be a kind of a regular military parade/patrol or anything. Trump will kick up a massive stink.

    • Trump can’t read unless it’s a McDonalds packet and a 5 page book with enlarged letters and pictures.
