The woke will refuse point blank to think their alienating activism damaged the movement, but the enormity of Trump’s win is forcing the Woke to finally have their ‘Are we the baddies’ moment, and it’s not a moment too soon.

ACT are pushing for a ‘Free Speech’ deal that will actually rob Institutions of having free speech.

2 – B-E-L-I-E-V-E ALL WOMEN that ALL Men are rapists.
3 – Anyone who supports Free Speech is a uniform wearing Nazi who hates the Trans Community.
Pure temple politics undermines Broadchurch solidarity and difference becomes a point of friction wrapped in an identity of victimhood.
It’s a lens of perpetual wounds screaming for social media hierarchy in a never ending Outrage Olympics that is about as electorally appealing as drinking a cup of cold sick.
The greatest danger to our society is the millisecond poor white men see themselves through this lens of identity and stop seeing themselves as citizens and start seeing themselves in the same narrative of victimhood.

The polling break down by Roy Morgan shows that we’ve alienated an enormous chunk of male vote and driven them into the arms of National, ACT, NZF.
If we on the Left want to win the 2026 election, we must bring men back to the fold. We must tell them there is a space here on the Left for them to be.

I dumped them when Davidson, at an Auckland vigil for the tragic Muslims murdered in Christchurch, blamed white people for that too, and I think did one of the anti-colonialism diatribes which seem to be a prerogative of te Parti Maori and the Greens and achieve zilch apart from being societally divisive, and IMO, racist. Davidson’s anti heterosexual white males rhetoric seems pretty pathological.
Trashing a whole demographic is nuts, IMO, but Bill English also did it when he wrote off a generation of our young men as useless unemployable work-shy druggies. That was untrue, and morally reprehensible when the suicide rates for 18- 24 year old males were peaking at heart-breaking levels.

First of all, what was actually “left” about Ardern? Nothing. Is it a label from being with Labour who are not left at all? Being called a socialist by groinswell doesn’t count because they are f’ing idiots?
Secondly review the “woke” policies whatever the f they are and tell me which way the current coalition members voted. It’s like National calling the wage subsidy irresponsible spend but they voted for it did they not? Worthless bullshitters to a man, woman, they them, whatever.

ACT is both neo-liberal and authoritarian, but does not give a toss about social liberal woke vs social conservative as per society.
