Nicole McKee shunned Police Association over the Gun Registry and then tried to censor Police opinion.

Here are 21 reasons why the Minister should have spoken to the NZ Police Association…

…what on earth have we become for this type of weird promotion of guns to be considered normal?

NZ was warned by the OECD that corporate interests were infecting our politics, this is a mutation of due process and the common good.

How angry at Jacinda must you be to accept this?

    • Because the union represents the people that make up the police Ennius. And the commisioner and union are poles apart on many issues.

    • Ennius has logic summed up by ‘why consult the actual workers who do the job and know most about the procedures for carrying it out’ ….

It makes me wonder does Ennuis rhyme with Penis,,, or is it Ennius pronounced more like Anus ,,, perhaps it’s either or,,, as he seems to have the attitude of a arsehole with the brains of a cock.

A couple of other points ,,,, The Police Association has near a 99% membership among uniformed constables/police,,, all firearm officers are uniformed police,,, They act and perform like a union but they will use force / break picket lines and arrest workers in other unions over industrial disputes…

Their membership by a heavy majority votes “Law & Order” conservative/authoritarian right wing bullshitters/ National ,,,, I doubt Labour would have even 20% support among them.

So where is dickheads link/evidence for his claim that …”In this case, the union is throwing a tantrum because it was consulted by the Labour government”

Cmon Ennius wheres your evidence against cops having a tanty because of Labour ,,,, rather than being pissed by NActs ‘worst practice’ police workplace reform ordered by a political lobby land Ideologue who looks like she couldn’t hit Gerry Brownleas fat slow moving arse with a 12 Gauge from 20 feet.

Even a knob head should know that she is behaving and talking like a arrogant idiot and Labour has nothing to do with her shit-clownery.

The police and their right-wing anti-union union are right to be pissed

  1. If National, or ACT, or Labour for that matter cared about the lives of police officers (and those killed by scared police officers as they blaze away at unarmed or barely armed suspects) then they’d invest some money into making sure frontline police officers have some degree of training in competently handling firearms. As it is, our cops receive less training than even American cops, and in the American case, there is a much higher incidence baseline level of competence due to the general firearms culture.

      • If we’d given Labour another chance, we’d have lost even more rights, so it is very nice to see things moving in the opposite direction. Shame you don’t appreciate everything else this Government offers, it’s exactly what you asked for.

        • We have given Act a chance now and we will lose more lives. I’m very pleased you see that it seeing things move in the right directions, a sadist will see that. As an aside tell me what it offers, as you seldom back up anything you say with evidence, intrigued?

        • Lost even more rights? WTF

There is no such thing as a RIGHT to have/own, assault and kill people with an AR-15 ASSAULT GUN.

Guns don’t kill people, politicians who let nutters, collectors, crazies, criminals, gangsters, profiteers, straw buyers, school kid and terrorists have uncontrolled access to guns, kill people.

  2. The cops regularly execute unarmed people via firearms with their torso shot policy, and sure their members have copped “lead poisoning” deaths too over a spread of many years. There is no excuse for killing the likes of Stephen Wallace etc. people acting out that just need some time spent on them rather than bullets.

But none the less, the Cops organisation should obviously have been included in the discussions over Acts plan for bringing back semi autos for all and sundry. The record shows NZ Police have called for restrictions on semis and a gun registry since the Aromoana massacre, but Parliament was always too gutless until the Mosque massacre of 51 people.

    • Sadly it is relatively easy to engineer situations where it is “necessary” for ordinary officers to use lethal force, and training is to aim for the centre of mass which will generally result in a fatality.
