Luxon’s bizarre meltdown on Camera today has to be seen to be believed…

…that level of self pity as unemployment hits a 3 year high, as 55% of mortgage holders walk off low rates onto high rates, as debt arrears and liquidations leap, as economic confidence and consumer confidence plunges, as this Government takes out of the mouths of hungry children at school to stuff into the pockets off the richest, he’s bitching and whining and complain about how tough it all is for him?

How tone deaf is this guy?

Remember a year ago when Luxon claimed NZ had turned into a “negative, wet, whiny and inward looking country.”

This wallowing in self pity and rolling John Key out just makes him look weaker by the month.

    • Yes…Clusterfuxon is finding out that he is in way over his head and that running a country is way, way, way, way, way more complex than selling some cheap nasty generic product or overseeing a government backed monopoly.

He talks like he is being forced, under duress, to do the stupid stuff that he is doing. The lack of knowledge, imagination, and his one dimensional programmed way of thinking, should be deeply concerning for New Zealand …’going forward’ , ‘chunking things down’ whilst ‘picking the low hanging fruit’.

There are strong parallels between his peculiar religious beliefs and his peculiar political beliefs.

He is programmed .. A gullible, back slapping , head patting, shit talking naive wide-boy, and once the needle on the record gets bumped out of the groove he doesn’t know where is or what song sheet he’s singing from anymore.

The fact that he has 7 taxpayer funded social media lackies constantly trying to pump up his image,(and ego’), to con the public, just further demonstrates the complete and utter lack of substance behind the suit.

Can you imagine a real leader like Norman Kirk indulging in such child like nonsense!!

How far New Zealand has fallen!

Expect more of these meltdowns as his naive dumb plans fail spectacularly and we head down a mine of discontent that will have them gone in 20 months time.

It just highlights once again that the power of money and propaganda can get even a coterie of clueless clowns in to power. Staying there is a whole different story.

The ‘Coalition of Chaos’ are the Liz Truss’s of the South Pacific and the end result will be the same !!

      • Clueless clowns could not be more accurate and spot on about Luxon. I only hope you are right about their staying power.

      • Based on your comments Grant I’m looking forward to the next election battle (if we make it that far) with the CoC showdown, the shit will be flying.

      • Are you in a different world Grant.
Norman Kirk went out of his way to avoid the media such was his weakness to perform live.

  1. It’s called ARROGANCE!!!! This has to be the most arrogant, self-servicing, ego maniac NZ has ever had as a PM. Not even Key, who hid his his self-entitlement well, had the gumption to whine about bad polls. He knew they were part and parcel of politics. Luxon has a casual “CEO off handedness” that will rub kiwis up the wrong way. If his minders had a difficult job “humanising” him before, their job just got 1000 times harder. This doesn’t bode well for this government. Expect strikes, civil disobedience, and some really vicious trolling in the near future.

    • ” Not even Key, who hid his his self-entitlement well ”

A lot of thinking people saw him for what he was and my wife who is always had an impeccable judge of character said the man has dead eyes.

He was one of the most corrupt in recent history and Luxon is cut from the same cloth.

Entitled , self serving and to make it worse he believes when it suits him that he is doing gods work.

  2. Luxon has no idea how tough it is out here and why should he ” He represents entitlement , wealth and privilege. Any tears or sympathy will be because he wants what all of them want and that is to be popular and the bottom feeders to be grateful for what they got while he and his colleagues get away with shafting the majority of us.

And LINO is just as culpable after doing nothing to reform and regulate this evil free market system.

Its no longer important whether a government is popular or not. The elephant in the room is the current economic system which has become a monster and its effects are destroying many peoples lives.

Politicians have FAILED and no longer represent anything except being the safeguard that keeps the status quo intact while despairing at their pay rises and how for them they are in a no win situation. What an insult to the many people out here clining on while they drown.

    This from Bryan Bruce.

” That parliamentarians can accept a substantial pay rise while increasing numbers of Kiwi families are struggling to make ends meet tells you everything you need to know about the ideology of self- interest that underpins Neoliberal economics and politics ”

  3. It’s not easy putting the economy into a nosedive and ruining the lives of thousands of Kiwis Martyn. C’mon, have a heart!

But seriously, this is a very serious economic crisis these f@ckwits have engineered.
Easily the most fraudulent, incompetent administration to take the government benches in this country’s history.
And now the lead Co-governor is having a public tantrum and needs babysitting by Key in Parliament.
This is rapidly descending into farce.

  4. ” Remember a year ago when Luxon claimed NZ had turned into a “negative, wet, whiny and inward looking country.”

Bomber don’t encourage people to watch that and give the deplorable man oxygen.

Its an affront to the many decent New Zealanders that are still out here.

  5. Who did the public elect again? A 2023 National party?
With Key back in parliament, English, Bennett, Joyce, McCully, Bridges and Sowry with their snouts and hooves firmly in the taxpayers trough. Who are they going to wheel out next? Shipley and Richardson?

  6. Well said MB. Totally agree with you. I add that Luxon keeps banging on about inheriting a mess from the last government – but what mess? He and his coalition are pretty much blaming the last government for the COVID pandemic and the measures that the Labour government put in place as a result yet our economy was then and still is in much better shape than many other countries and Luxon and those other people he works with did not and has not contributed to that

Unfortunately, the mantra that repeating something over and over does not make it right seems to have the opposite effect under this coalition government. Luxon and his crew keep repeating it every opportunity they can and it seems that those who voted them in are lapping it up and supporting all the vicious cuts that are being made – because many of them have never experienced hardship.

    • Yeah bloody right and the media needs to stop them in their tracks every time they talk about the mess Labour made and get them to defend and explain what they mean. They won’t have anything to say because the facts just don’t stack up. And we sure do have a mess now of their making. Kuxon throwing red faced tantrums might cause a few pauses in those who voted for him and the ghost of that other five minute loaf of white bread is a bit gulp inducing. Wow, it happened once and could happen again. Looks like it could any day now as Luxon appears like he’s right on the verge of spitting the dummy.

  7. For God sake can we get off the Labour made a mess of the economy bullshit. It’s just a nonsense when you you compare NZ to the rest of the world post pandemic…. and that line is getting so tired very quickly.
Christopher…man up you Muppet. You’ve been in government for 5 months now with your weird little ménage à trois of right wing elitism.
The reality is, “it’s not easy” shitting all over the majority of the population, just so your rich mates can revel in wealth unhindered…. especially when everyone else can see what perversions you are up to.
Do us a favour and either step up and own the fact that so far, all you have done is send this country backwards with policies based on greed and vengeance.
Or better still step down and call an election.
No one likes you Chris….not even Jesus!

  8. It’s not easy right…because WE are having to make tough decisions…you know having difficulty picking human casualties…, you know like some overseas governments

  9. Life’s tough at the top alright. Just ask any of the homeless begging for those few dollars in every city in the country.
“…They are the first increases to MPs’ salaries since 2017. Luxon’s will lift immediately to $484,000, backdated to the October election. It then rises to $498,300 in July this year before tipping over the $500,000 mark in July 2025 when he will get $510,300. Another $10,000 rise takes him to $520,000 in 2026.”
Keep up the good work @ M.B.

  10. This is incredible and has all the class of an abusive dad from the 1950’s taking off his belt while saying. “You made me do this, it’s going to hurt me more than it will hurt you but its for your own good” and then crying when he jacks off afterwards.

    • Kim. Yep. My first thought was of the violent teachers/ parents from time past saying, “ This is going to hurt me more than it hurts you,” and some them may have misguidedly meant it, but not so Luxon, wallowing in self-pity and victimhood.

Does he care that this torrential rain which saturates children’s clothing means that they set off next day still damp? That kids no longer wear proper shoes, and mothers are too tired to conjure up a decent hot soup, or don’t know how to? That the choice might be warmth or crap food? That people move in and out of poverty on a weekly basis according to Seymour’s Pharmac pet Paula? Does he have a clue about the long-term debilitating effects of grinding poverty on the children of the poor ?
Maybe it’s time to re-define who the bottom-feeders really are.

  11. Poor man couldn’t cope with getting a few yards up Bowen Street without a shiny limo so this isn’t surprising. Found Premier House too draughty to live in except as a party pad for the whanau at Christmas. Gets around home in his pyjamas. Lost all his hair. Needs another holiday in Te Puke before he pukes in public.

  12. He dose not care about making people unemployed .He will be gloating to his rich mates ,saying that will teach the fuckers for getting pay increases over the last six years and also gloating about how much extra rent he is collecting this year tax free .

  13. It is much harder to be on the receiving end of his government’s policies than having to drive them through – what a twat. Pretty much a mascot for this government – good work for the tossers who voted him, and even worse – Winston First or ACT – in the first place … mainly Aucklanders I am picking due to having a delayed tanty over lockdowns. Pity our previous government’s responses to the Covid threat were so successful – putting the country into lockdown … now that is a hard policy to drive through … FFS

  14. That beseeching look with head down, slightly angled to the side, and uplooking eyes is straight out of the Key playbook of bullshit body language.
Those are psychopathic tears of joy as he gazes on at the devastation wreaked on a country he never loved nor respected.

    • Better to stay quiet and be considered an idiot than making comment and proving to be one…see Bob the first idiot below, objectively speaking that is.

  15. He’s doing a great job is our Prime Minister Luxon,he will lead us to a secure economic position from which everyone will benefit.Critics on the left expect him to do so immediately which is not possible, was it possible Labour had six years to do but instead made things worse.
    Some objectivity please.

    • Some objectivity from someone openly bias, what a fucking hypocrite, Bob young boy, please grow up. The majority of NZ say Luxon is out of his depth although probably alongside you in ankle deep water and the evidence point to Luxon seeing the country bankrupt except for landlords.

    • What a load of rubbish Bob. There are good number from the right/conservatives who think he and his finance minister are full of it. Why? Because they use actual numbers and estimates, not slogans. They don’t get their info from 1ZB

  16. The comments section on X is hilarious. Speaking of comments, Bob the First, Trevor, I’m Right et al are conspicuous by their absence on this thread. The emperor truly is naked. Key let his mask slip too but it took much longer.
