Announce protest actions, general chit chat or give your opinion on issues we haven’t covered for the day.

The Editor doesn’t moderate this blog,  3 volunteers do, they are very lenient to provide you a free speech space but if it’s just deranged abuse or putting words in bloggers mouths to have a pointless argument, we don’t bother publishing.

EDITORS NOTE: – By the way, here’s a list of shit that will get your comment dumped. Sexist language, homophobic language, racist language, anti-muslim hate, transphobic language, Chemtrails, 9/11 truthers, Qanon lunacy, climate deniers, anti-fluoride fanatics, anti-vaxxer lunatics, 5G conspiracy theories, the virus is a bioweapon, some weird bullshit about the UN taking over the world  and ANYONE that links to fucking infowar.

There are so many things wrong with our systems of government – the health and safety etc that would force or result in the dumping of meat that could not be used. I think our laws would withhold food from starving people if it had been out of a refrigerator for a couple of days and especially if it was past the best before date. Because it might have some germ on it that is not killed by cooking. Fair enough, but there should be a system that could swing into place to enable use of meat like this if in reasonable order, and a high need.

We are past time for admitting there is great need in this country. Do you hear you stupid, mean, careless, deaf, self-satisfied people in the middle classes – squeeze yourselves and give some of your substance for others who are struggling.

And note that there is a warning that the bins might not remain if the wrongs things are put in them in large amounts. This is another problem with the lack of government service we see frequently. Government should do whatever needs to be done. Find the money, apply the services. Try to find a better way to prevent the problem but when confronted Keep Calm and Carry On. Don’t spout threats and rules and dissatisfaction and shock.

  2. Banks have taken away our options to use cheques and our cash movement is mainly through these scamable systems. We are bring crippled by this tech tyrany.
    https://www.scoop.co.nz/stories/PO2309/S00146/number-of-scam-cases-accelerating-fast-says-banking-ombudsman.htm
The Banking Ombudsman Scheme’s annual report shows customer complaints about scams rose 43 per cent on the previous year, making up 625 of the 3,513 complaints received in 2022-23. Nearly a third of all complaints formally investigated were about scams, and the average loss was $57,000. Phishing and investment scams predominated.

Banking Ombudsman Nicola Sladden said the continual emergence of new and more sophisticated scams was a key factor in the rise, compounding a problem that was already costing New Zealanders more than $200 million a year.
