Announce protest actions, general chit chat or give your opinion on issues we haven’t covered for the day.

The Editor doesn’t moderate this blog,  3 volunteers do, they are very lenient to provide you a free speech space but if it’s just deranged abuse or putting words in bloggers mouths to have a pointless argument, we don’t bother publishing.

EDITORS NOTE: – By the way, here’s a list of shit that will get your comment dumped. Sexist language, homophobic language, racist language, anti-muslim hate, transphobic language, Chemtrails, 9/11 truthers, Qanon lunacy, climate deniers, anti-fluoride fanatics, anti-vaxxer lunatics, 5G conspiracy theories, the virus is a bioweapon, some weird bullshit about the UN taking over the world  and ANYONE that links to fucking infowar.

Cruelty reigns under neoliberal takeover of democratic welfare-oriented governments by money and business interests.
A landmark inquiry in Australia has found an illegal welfare hunt by the previous government made victims feel like criminals and caused suicides.

Known locally as “Robodebt”, it was an automated government scheme which incorrectly demanded welfare recipients pay back benefits.
People received letters saying they were owed thousands of dollars in debt, based off an incorrect algorithm.

More than half a million Australians were affected by the policy.

Amy Winehouse is dead now. The spurious promises of a baleful disembodied age got to her while she was still young and famous.

Our Day – may be just this moment in time and fini. Can’t we do something about this society that we seem to be trapped in like insects in amber?

  2. Breakthrough from study of why things that happened ages ago are still happening, only faster.

We now know why people who seem to be managing their lives feel so entitled to hammer in the heads of people who fail to cope and require a helping hand, sometimes for their whole lives.

Sorry I am incorrect; after much expensive study requiring high minds and technology it has been found that space in the early<< days was slower. Thought you would like to know this juicy morsel which you can bring up at the pub, over coffee or round the water cooler, and at dinner parties or before/during your nightly? serving of sexual comfort.

11.45 The week that was –
Comedians Pinky Agnew and Irene Pink have a few laughs and take us through the week that was: The plumbing vans some drivers are mistaking for police. And a hidden safe’s secret contents uncovered under a false floor in Lower Hutt, and now on their way to the rightful owner. Plus, Auckland’s elusive, lawn-destroying pig has finally captured – but not before leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.

Can you look at this plumbers van! Police? Is this our Watergate?

  4. Whakaari has led to a number of prosecutions. I wonder if they are all justified. The close check that government volcanic watchers should have applied was missing.

I wonder what will be, who will be sued when our next major eruption occurs – supposed to be good. I was just looking at historic photos of Tarawera. In one area the mud fell 30-40 feet deep covering village and people at Te Ariki Village. Waimangu Geyser was the largest geyser in the world for a time and went 1900-1904. So a more

  5. This is a strange case and it seems that in some criminal cases retention of name might be extended until remedial counselling etc has taken place. And a phrase comes to mind ‘The Heart Has Its Reasons’. Perhaps counselling would be more effective and more demanding as far as change and perhaps healing was concerned. And there is a puritan attitude in nZ which shows up as no provision for people wanting to have a sexual relationship in old people’s homes – some of them are still fully alive! And is there possibility of sex and relationships for those in prison?
