Announce protest actions, general chit chat or give your opinion on issues we haven’t covered for the day.

The Editor doesn’t moderate this blog,  3 volunteers do, they are very lenient to provide you a free speech space but if it’s just deranged abuse or putting words in bloggers mouths to have a pointless argument, we don’t bother publishing.

EDITORS NOTE: – By the way, here’s a list of shit that will get your comment dumped. Sexist language, homophobic language, racist language, anti-muslim hate, transphobic language, Chemtrails, 9/11 truthers, Qanon lunacy, climate deniers, anti-fluoride fanatics, anti-vaxxer lunatics, 5G conspiracy theories, the virus is a bioweapon, some weird bullshit about the UN taking over the world  and ANYONE that links to fucking infowar.

  1. R M Brown is a wordy opinionated bloke on the internet. He is showing a pleasing? apparent trend during his orations about the latest happenings by constantly calling on Jesus Christ. As Jesus is amongst the greatest and kindest people who ever lived on this Earth, it is a good sign that his presence is constantly called on. Every time we hear someone call on Jesus Christ we should give them a word of praise, or a pat on the shoulder, or a hug if appropriate, eg not if a sad-looking body builder, or a female or passing-for-female; then just be hesitant as it will be likely misinterpreted and resented.

  2. Seeking to build strategic foreign relationships with little positives that confound negative feelings, which might be inclined to deepen. Would that be a good idea for NZ/Ao? Trying to eat one’s cake and have it to, seems how NZ is trying to manage foreign affairs. What if we offered to send a trained team of Covid vaccinators to an area of China where we have interests and are known already? Or perhaps to the country area where Rewi Alley enjoyed useful time helping with his skills. All in good neighbour approach while we haven’t got a present crisis, and have spare capacity. Probably Sun Tzu would have some advice that this would match. ‘In the midst of chaos there is also opportunity.’

This after reading Gwynne Dyer who seems to have head on right as a rule!

…Let’s say six months for that. Then [President Xi Jinping] has to control the rising infections with the hated lockdowns and quarantines as best he can, containing popular anger as much as possible, until a high enough portion of the population is properly vaccinated – say another six to 12 months…

If vaccinations could start soon with a plan – start to prioritise troublesome urban areas, then also go to country areas to ensure that everyone was shown to be considered and would not be left out, it would probably lead to a damping down of dismay and concern.

    • I like that word ‘riddicule’. It is the word to flaunt in the present times. Mixture of riddle and ridicule – very pointed and meaningful. (Portmanteau word – we could have a contest on TDB each month for the latest combo that hits the spot !)
