It is VERY hard to read the report on the New Lynn Terrorist Ahamed Samsudeen and not see how our intervention as the State in his life turned an angry young man into a knife stabbing terrorist.

Everything about our interaction with Ahamed Samsudeen radicalised him, and there really has to be some exceptionally hard questions asked of almost every State Service who dealt with him because all it looks like is we manufactured a terrorist by the way we treated him.

I fear that we are going to do the same thing with these antivax Qanon fringe lumpenproletariat by over reacting.

Legitimate domestic terror threats to the State must be nullified and prevented at all costs, but fantasists who believe in a magical world of make believe need to be responded to proportionally no matter how their behaviour frightens the rest of us.

As we struggle at the height of all the economic and social pressures that are tearing us apart, I fear our fear will cause us to blunder it into something worse.

    • Nope, both governments love to reward crims that harm others here. Immigration tries to deport people and the woke tribunals let them stay to harm others and take up housing, justice and health care in NZ.

      The waiting lists for justice, housing and health care in NZ, just keep growing and service keeps declining as more high needs people with major problems are attracted to migrate here and get to stay by being a historic overstayer or identity reasons.

      I’m no new labour fan-atic ( Because roger douglas was a two term finance minister within Old labour before he was excreted. Then roger went on to summon ACT up from the dirty end of Hell with the help of bob jones, AO/NZ’s newest billionaire. The fucking natzo’s then flourished once ACT divided the voter and a cadre of fawning cockies started trotting along behind the suits and polished shoes throwing rose petals and money at them. The national party are no more than a box of rich, psychotic, sadomasochistic wasps who’s talent and passion for cruelty can’t be ignored.
      I have a fantastic photograph taken by Geoff Dale of roger douglas standing in one of his pig sheds surrounded by big old pigs in metal bar cages. They couldn’t turn around and from what I can tell from the image they can’t lie down either. And there was roger with a feed bucket in his hand, smiling away like the tiny psycho he is.
      And we voted for that fucker. Can you believe that? He strode into parliament on his short little legs and completely fucked our beautiful AO/NZ and in so doing drove tens of thousands of people into poverty and destitution. And enabled nine new billionaires too, it should be written.
      I worry that the ‘roger effect’ has become so systemic, so ingrained within our society, our politics and our culture ( What ever that is..? ) that the little freak’s here to stay in one short form or another.
      I know I write of dire gloom and doom with a liberal salting of hoppelesness so I like to end such things with curative plan. Crowd fund a war chest to pay for a broad spectrum investigation into AO/NZ’s finances covering the last 140 years. We need a high end group of people to go up rogers short little trouser legs to see what makes it tick. We need forensic accountants, investigative jurnolists and more than one or two proper cops. Not the guilded little lillies seen harassing car drivers.

    Samsudeen came to NZ on a study visa and within a month dropped out and then somehow became a protected person with fake documents as immigration was stopped from deporting him by the woke tribunals. Samsudeen has opportunity but instead of bettering himself, he dropped out to try to kill others! Somehow woke feel this is acceptable and someone else’s fault?

    If there is fault, it is that the state can’t be bothered to stop the world’s unskilled narcissists coming to NZ bludging and victimising other people here who have done nothing wrong! As soon as a foreign national drops out of a study course in NZ or becomes unemployed or is discovered with fake documents they should immediately be deported. That’s what other countries with better human rights than NZ do! Guess what their roads and construction works a lot better too!

    The woke tribunal went against the doctors advice that his disability he will be a burden on the health system! Not taxes got paid while he was here. I guess that’s the same tribunal that allowed Samsudeen to stay in NZ with his fake documents, and knife people later on, when immigration wanted to deport him.

    Wonder why NZ is in poverty and crime is escalating? Maybe it’s because the world’s woke seem to be converging in NZ and enabling those with high needs, narcism, stupidity and criminal tendencies that other countries screen out.

    As more crime and poverty hits NZ, it becomes less desirable for skilled taxpayers to live here so not sure who’s going to be doing all the higher skilled professional jobs when you get more sympathy and credit from not working or studying and harming others.

Let’s not forget the support by successive New Zealand governments for the Lankan regime’s persecution of anyone who isn’t a Sinhalese Buddhist, whether on a ethnic basis as in the case of the Tamils, or a religious one as in the case of Muslims (this is also conflated with their targeting of Tamils who are mostly Hindu and Christian not Buddhist). If Ahamed was safe on the island of Ceylon, it’s unlikely he would have been either radicalised or here.

    Then the taxpayers have to bail RNZ and NZ media out as nobody wants to read that crap!

    With our literacy and cheating rates, few will be reading after 2025 anyway – might as well save the money for our overflowing prisons and justice systems – after all NZ mostly needs takeout operators and labourers as our media is constantly telling us.
