While Trump may be the most despicable travesty, assembled in some bloated mockery of the human form, to hold high office in a long time-he has also never stopped campaigning.
His large rallies, loaded with “merch” have continued unabated since 2016. He has formidable support among millions, including the religious nutters that populate Southern and interior states. He will be very hard to beat. Bernie, like Robert De Niro is a tough New Yorker from way back who knows what Trump is really made of, and would go head to head very well with the Orange sack of shit.
Bernie’s problem reminds of Hone Harawira and Internet Mana, when the entire political establishment turned on Hone, and Labour put huge resources into the Auckland end of Te Tai Tokerau to stop Laila Harre and Hone. Everyone is against Bernie including now, Bloomberg’s billions. His struggle is to get Democratic supporters who are fearful and running scared to pick him over Joe Biden. If he can win Michigan Primary he may have a chance, but there are such powerful forces unleashed now will he be able to come back? At least he gave it an honourable massive try.

Biggest disappointments: Warren – She ran as a progressive! I feel a sense of betrayal by her. Even now, late as it may be, she is failing to give her support to the deeper, wider (world-wide) progressive movement that Bernie represents. Incredibly disappointed.
Obama: He thought fit to interfere in the democratic process and sway voters away from Bernie, to dead-man-walking Biden.
The entire democratic process, what it has become in the 21st century. Democracy for sale. It is no longer a question of ‘who the people want’, but of who has the money to buy and sell the people. One person’s billions can swing the election. Even while the planet burns.

1.Correct Kheala , If Warren had backed Bernie before super tuesday the race would look very different with Bernie winning far more states and deligates and almost certainly staying in front. The right vote consolidated in behind Biden ,but Warren by staying the race split the left vote . A massive tactical error for progressives .
2. Martyn is 100% correct that Biden is no match for trump . Only Bernie can motovate the 100 million people who didn’t vote in 2016 .As it would be that demographic which can sweep Trump out. I wouldn’t bet a dime on Biden, he simply won’t motovate the voteless 45% of America to vote.They have had enough of billionaires false promises .

I was Bernie all the way, can you imagine Biden in a debate with Trump where he is not quite sure what state he is in let alone what day it is. How dare that communist Bernie suggest medicare for all, it would never work.
