Of all the people to attack, Richie Hardcore isn’t one of them!

WTF?

Karel Sroubek supporter texted PM after residency initially granted
Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern was sent a text message commending the decision to grant Karel Sroubek residency by someone who is both a friend of the Czech drug-smuggler and an acquaintance of hers.

That man was Richie Hardcore, whose Instagram’s account shows him posing with Ardern in multiple photos and referring to her as “a friend” and “the people’s champ”.

National has slammed the Prime Minister after the revelation, with leader Simon Bridges saying Ardern had not been upfront about the message from Hardcore and it was time she told the whole story.

…this story is such horse shit! If there are any questions to answer it’s from Simon Bridges and the National Party member who is in a relationship with Sroubek’s former partner…

Karel Sroubek’s mother Mila: ‘Give him one last chance’

She said his wife has filed for divorce after entering a relationship with Mark Davey, who she said was a member of the National Party.

When asked why she thought her son’s case had become political, she answered: “In the beginning it was personal interest of my son’s wife and her new partner, but then it became political because the National Party now can use it to increase pressure on the current minister.”

…Mark Davey, who is a National Party member and candidate for the National Party Auckland local government ticket ‘Auckland Future’ is now in a relationship with Karel Sroubek’s ex-partner?

National MP’s Michael Woodhouse and Mark Mitchell have both come out and said they don’t know Davey, but isn’t it suspicious in the extreme that National only seized upon this fiasco after a local candidate began a relationship with Sroubek’s ex-partner?

There are enough reasons already to conclude this is a storm in a tea cup, but attacking Richie is outrageous!

To all the Mums and Dads of sons, Richie is the role model you are looking for! He is kind, ethical, a campaigner against drugs, alcohol and sexual assault. He stands for White Ribbon and has done an enormous work on mental health issues for young men. To smear him in the way Bridges has for political point scoring is the kind of dirty politics reminder of why National shouldn’t be allowed near power.

This is worse than fake news, it’s malicious news.

  1. Based on the interview with pull the benefit on RNZ this morning they have a new policy its called the ‘sniff policy’ that is what classless pulla said Jacinda didn’t pass the sniff tests They national are starting to sounds like a bunch of dogs running around sniffing people. Talk about getting desperate.

  2. Was it CrosbyTextor strategy or referenced in Hager’s Dirty Politics that you target your opponent’s strongest asset? Currently, the PM.

    • That depends on quality intelligence reports and deception which just isn’t there any more, It was for a different time. Social media is playing a much bigger role than some may think.

    • That would certainly seem to be the case over on Kiwi Blog.
The Goons over there would like nothing better than to see Jacinda gone.

They just do not seem to have any other life outside of KB.
      And Farrar calls the shots.

  3. we don’t need sniffer dogs when we have the national party whose new policy is the sniff policy I wonder if they( the gnats) will start barking in parliament. Oh! that right they already have meow !

  4. The idiot temporary leader of the Opposition and the idiot former Immigration Minister want blood. Their sense of smell is so up the Khyber they think the smell in their nostrils is blood.

Naturally enough some of their senseless supporters have now got a whiff. And how they have built it up to be the biggest freshest bloodiest blood smell of all time.

Trouble is of course, the aroma isn’t from the PM or the collaterally damaged Hardcore, the smell is actually the shit Bridges is in.

    • For the love of God, get a grip on reality TOM GARDNER. Richie supports people through rehab, and like a decent human being actually calls the people he supports, friends. You know, the normal decent human thing to do, rather than try and score points off peoples suffering by trying to take the moral high ground. Which by the way, where was your moral compass when the chief ponytail puller lied all those times? Where was your moral judgement then – becasue I never saw it? Not once, not one Tory here or anywhere called ponytail puller out, ever. So moral high ground from you lot is a bad/evil/sick joke.

    • Someone can be a role model for the good things they do over years then it turns out they know a felon.

When does the not being a role model kick in? Back to when they were first esteemed for doing good stuff? Up to the instant some media person mentions a relationship? Or is it a personal thing – you stop having them as a role model when you are told about the media information?

Rose-tinted glasses? The stuff about Hardcore is not about glasses, it’s about blindness. The blind fury of not being in Government.

    • Guilt by association.

Didn’t Jesus Christ supposedly “consort” with tax collectors, prostitutes, etc??

It’s a poor day when one is tried and condemned for not having “the right right friends”. Was John Key the “right friend to have”?

    • “Read between the lines”?

Is that the same as reading tea leaves? Chicken entrails? Seeing the face of Jesus Christ in a cheese toastie?

Trouble with reading between the lines, Andrew, is that you can see whatever you want.

Martyn’s right. This is bullshit from a desperate National party leader with Judith Collins breathing down his neck.

  5. The moral of the story is clear. When Simon is PM after the next election text, email, tweet him, get all the unsavoury people you know to do the same about each and every issue, incident, or possibility. Then he can be asked questions and put on the spot about them.

You knew it was a joke as soon as you saw the part about him being PM didn’t you.

  6. Poor Richie aside, the most interesting question is why the Nats have decided to front-foot an immigration issue.
