Love him or hate him, Slater’s nuclear bomb on National must be investigated.

The claim that…

his chief of staff, Jamie Gray, who directly contacted Jami-Lee Ross’ psychiatrist shortly after 9:15 pm on Saturday night. That was after he’d been informed about a serious risk to Jami-Lee’s health by the very same female MP who wanted Jami-Lee Ross dead in an awful text message. So, a National MP called the police, Simon Bridges chief of staff was involved after 9:15 pm and two of his direct report staff members were involved in the hit job, along with the female MP…and Simon Bridges knows nothing?

…this is just a jaw dropping allegation that if true demands absolute investigation immediately.

The need to catch a #MeToo villain has led the mainstream media to legitimise anonymous sources of the kind Newsroom used and in the cultural frenzy to denounce toxic interpersonal patriarchy, has blinded them to the far larger issues of China buying influence and the possibility now that an MP was sectioned by their own Party just as he was about to drop a large amount of dirt on them.

Journalists in NZ play to their woke twitter echo chambers, their unbelievable silence now after what has been revealed is extraordinary and embarrassing.

  1. Is this all simply to install collins as natzo’s ‘leader’ so she can then on-sell us to the chinese?

    • It’s nuclear, not targeted sniping, COUNTRYBOY.

This is the end of the National Party.

And, National Party readers, know that this is just the beginning…

The left hate you. The Right hate you. The security services hate you.

There’s no coming back from this.

As surely as you can no longer catch a fish.

  2. It is shocking that the news media are so complicit with the National Party in helping to cover this all up instead of investigating the very serious issues here, beginning with the $100,000 donation.

Why has no investigative reporter examined the National Party donations return to see if a $100,00 donation exists ? If not, then examine donations of $15,000 or just under. We need to be following the money trail.

Instead we have this silly diversion from 4 senior National Party women who all decided freely to enter into an adulterous relationship. Their allegations are big on character assassination but very short on actual facts, and exactly the sort of thing you would expect from women spurned who all have big motivation to cover up for the National Party.

Our political parties and our news media are failing to do their jobs in upholding our democratic system, in exposing and removing corruption, and in upholding our civil rights.

  3. My understanding is that a person can’t be detained under the mental health act without lengthy due process, including a psych report and court order.

So how was a sitting member of Parliamrnt “held” for 48 hours?? And how did he come to be released if he miraculously was sectioned, as the msm claims??

The more I hear about this, the more questions are raised. And the msm shows not a jot of interest in investigating this incident. So far all we have is Cameron Slater’s version of events and if they’re true then we have a serious crisis to deal with. And the msm is silent. Thank god for blogs!

  4. Yes, the MSM silence is a shocking sort of silence; they may be waiting to see if David Fischer loses his job for truth telling – or may be plain lazy.

Collins will do what suits Collins in her own Jack Nicholson type of way, but Slater – If I were him I would change my exquisitely apt surname – may find that his king-making skills do not match up to his muck-raking skills – he sets himself a high bar there.

  5. According to Paula Bennett Four National MPs?/Staff were abused in some way by Jami-Lee Ross.

Simon Bridges informed the Nation that Fifteen more women told him they were abused apparently in some intimate way by Jami-Lee Ross. (What a man!)

This number has not been published except by Simon Bridges who was being tackled by Jami-Lee Ross about unlawful Donor Money Management and ways of completely concealing the Money.

With the Money came provision for Chinese Candidates to have a seat in Parliament.

I suggest that the National Party of New Zealand is Corrupt and should hold a new Caucus Meeting to reinstate Jami-Lee Ross when he is back in health, to clear the good name of National’s females, and to reinstate faith in the integrity of the National Party of New Zealand.

For at the present time the National Stinks from the gutter upwards.

  6. A lack of investigation implies that this was somehow unremarkable, a kind of normal event.
I don’t usually agree with Slater and Seymour and definitely not within days but this needs investigation.
And sure there may be a bigger play going on here but as Seymour tweeted, sectioning a current MP has severe constitutional implications. Are the MSM journos looking out for us? They have a key role in protecting democracy without fear or favour.

DEAR LUSKY, I’ve fallen out with SB…so how do I get back at him? From your faithful disciple JLR 🙂
DEAR ROGUE-1…I MEAN JLR, what you ask ain’t easy. So I’ll tell you about something I’ve whipped up, called the kamikaze option! Your pal Lusky.

    <>.
(42 min 43 seconds) – When Tova asks: “If JLR has made the national party sound like a house of cards…”, then JC, who’s behind SB’s left shoulder, grins for the first time.
(42 min 53 seconds) – When SB says “JLR is acting as a lone mp…”, grinning JC turns to Mark Mitchell, who’s behind SB’s right shoulder, and looks knowingly at Mitchell. Mitchell then looks back at JC, and gives an imperceptible nod. What’s this all about?
Of the 4 mp’s beside SB, only JC reacts in this way…what a tangled web we weave.

  8. If the endgame is to lever national further to the right politically, then the dirty politics dodo’s have truly come home to roost. Meaning that we’ll all be headed for some deep guano, which will require jackboots to step through.
Pundits infer JLR is history, and SB will survive in the near term, but could the opposite be true? One problem for SB, is that he doesn’t know exactly what JLR knows, or has, or what’s coming up. SB is hoping JLR is a lone wolf, but does JLR have the cunning to be acting alone? Is JLR just a Botany bagman run amok, or are his machiavellian antics being orchestrated as part of a higher stakes poker game, with derringers at the ready, while sitting atop powder kegs, where all sides are now all in, and no one can afford to fold. There have definitely been dark forces afoot at national…less House of Cards, and more House of Slytherin.
SB is juggling nitroglycerin, while surfing the event horizon, of his eave of destruction, while his caucus applaud like seals, except those holding the concealed daggers. SB can stay on his board, if the polling remains high, but that seems unlikely to continue. National will probably lose more of their soft support, and drop closer to their core support…who will always back them, even if they were just poo on a stick.

Someone must have told the Chinese donor to break up the 100k cheque, so that it could avoid disclosure under electoral law (illegal). The donor isn’t going to bother making the donation through other names, unless advised to. If 100k left the donor’s bank account, then prey tell, where did it go. National knew who the donor was, and the total amount, and the donors (or PRC) suggested list candidate…because it’s all recorded. So someone at national arranged it, and it’s just a matter of identifying who. At least 2 people know for sure, and there are 7 other names on the cheques, who might have been in the loop. Perhaps it was: “Can you help out with making this donation to national, because so’n’so asked that it be done this way.” And so’n’so is likely to be JLR or SB. And since JLR called in the Police, it seems unlikely he would have called them in on himself…but time will tell. This is all sounding very familiar.

    • You are right, the evidence that one man was the source of the 100,000 donation, officiallly made in seven parts (6 donors + one couple), is in the money leaving one mans accounts at this time.

Clearly such donors know the law, if they can be caught all depends on how they fund the multiple donations.

If no money left the accounts of the other named donors at this time, or was first received by them to later pass on, there is evidence it was not money from them unless it was to laundered out of undeclared to IRD cash income (bad either way).

  9. If JLR ever decides to return to parliament, then he could hook up with one of the small parties like the new conservatives, or top, etc, which would boost his chances of retaining his seat. In Botany, JLR would be seen as the whistle blowing underdog, hard done by, exposing corruption, standing up to the boss, with good Chinese and Maori connections, and with a fallibility many voters can identify with, regarding his misdemeanors, and battling back his mental health. This could give national, that which it most lacks, and most desires, which is a reliable friend in the center. (Perhaps christian based, neoliberal, low tax, pro gun, etc). The ace JLR has, is that he’s already a sitting electorate mp, so if he can win, then any party he goes with, is assured of getting into parliament, without needing the 5%. JLR’s meteoric political trajectory would continue, as the young leader of a newly elected party. National only have to swing a few percent of the center vote, to get back in. Botany may emerge as the new Epsom.
But if national try to use the waka jumping law to oust JLR, then they risk JLR fighting back, with legal appeals ad nauseum, stretching out to 2020 anyway. It would be best to reach a deal, than have someone throwing grenades at you under parliamentary privilege, for the next 2 years, or until there’s a spill…whichever comes first. But depending on whom JLR’s scorned mp is, and self interest all round, any deal maybe a bridges too far.

  10. Melanie Reid’s statement that the investigation into the 4 anonymous complainants quoted by PB, “had been going for 1 year”, is unlikely to be true (more like 1 month). Why would the 4 complainants each decide off their own bat, at the same time, to contact the same investigative reporter outside their organisation, yet not even inform SB, who claims he knew nothing about it, despite 2 of them being from his office?
And one of the complainants had been in a fling with JLR for 3 years, so how terrible could JLR have been to her, if she persisted for 3 years. Seriously, 3 years. It takes two to tango. Why is PB not releasing this woman’s name, when she released the supposed dirt on JLR, to destroy his marriage, even though she had been medically advised at the time, not to put pressure on him? Is it because the anonymous mp, is even more mentally fragile than JLR? Hardly equality.
The anonymous mp, sent JLR an abusive txt message, and was involved in his mental health admittance. Was the scorned anonymous mp, the trigger point that set off this whole sorry mess? Was it a case of “this caucus ain’t big enough for the both of us” and it was decided that JLR, was the one who had to go? Meaning that the scorned mp was likely ranked higher than seventh ranking JLR. That doesn’t leave many possibilities. Was PB so venomously anti JLR, and backing the woman scorned, because PB is close to Reid, and extremely close to the woman scorned…so close that they might be indistinguishable? Reid and HDPA would know…while JLR may tweet it!

  11. Was SB looking at himself in the mirror this morning, saying: “Oh god…what next?…oh god…I’m in an ongoing catch 22, with no easy fix…the cop’s and the media are sniffing around…while PB’s booting me on one front…and JLR’s booting me on another… and JC keeps poking me in the back, saying she’s just practicing…while my polling is going down the gurgler…and all I can do is whinge about petrol excise going up 4%, when it went up 10% under national.
…Maybe I should just have a sicky…say a touch of laryngitis, phlebitis, roids, anything…I really need a bender…I wonder if the greens have any spare weed?
    …But if I take a sicky, who can I get as a replacement, that won’t outshine me…hmmmm, do I have Maureen’s number?”

While JLR may have looked in the mirror and mused: “You know, I’m the splitting image of “Maximus Decimus Meridius”, loyal servant to the true emperor JC, orphaned by a corrupt party, slandered by a hypocritical deputy, and yet I’ll have my vengeance on them all, in this news cycle, or the next.” …burning bridges lost forever more…

  12. Cameron Slater is supporting Jami-Lee Ross at present. An opportunity for WO to take retribution against Natz is there which he would not have allowed to slip by. If he is in possession of any of JLR’s devices on which damning information is held, then he’s more likely than not to use it, in an attempt to destroy Natz, in particular the present parliamentary Opposition hierarchy, as well as a couple of recently retired Natz PMs!

I suspect if Slater does decide to release any of JLR’s recordings, texts, communications etc and I have an inkling he just might, then he is very likely to drip feed the information slowly, possibly using the time frame as close as he can leading up to the next general election in two years time, to cause maximum damage to Natz.
