Did the National Party use Cambridge Analytica through Thiel’s Palantir in the 2017 election?

In the same week Cambridge Analytica has been busted exploiting Facebook data mining  the NZDF is being forced to answer questions about Peter Thiel’s mass surveillance data mining.

How are these two things connected? Thiel used Cambridge Analytica to invent spiteful hate adverts to woo Trump voters.

Thiel was granted citizenship by the National Party under questionable grounds and his corporate mass surveillance weapon holds contracts with the NZ Intelligence apparatus.

National spent $101,255 on Facebook and Google in the 2017 election and  it begs the question, with National letting Thiel become a citizen and his work on Trumps campaign, did Palantir do any work with National for the 2017 election?

      • Feel free to lynch me for what I’m about to say. Here goes. Everytime I watch a “sting” Mainstream report on Cambridge Analytica “scandal” I think 3 things. 1) Mainstream media agenda. Convince people that consuming online media is worse 2) The left still cant understand why Trump won 3) Dems lost ’cause they didnt think of it first.

        So Hillary had USD1.3bln and Trump had $200mln in campaign funds. He played a far better ground game and found a way to target swing voters cost effectively via Social Media and he won. Based on that Trump is President of the Worlds largest Economy.

    • It’s like being in a group of Neanderthals finding shinny things. Most Facebook users are just kids. If you’re over thirty and still in fave nooks comment section you really need to question yourself. You should be at least able to produce your own content by then.

  5. So John Key plays golf with Obama and then let’s Kim Dotcom in to arrest him for the US. Then Key lets Thiel have NZ citizenship when he isn’t entitled to it. Thiel helps Donald Trump to beat Democrat Hillary Clinton who Obaman supports. Obama then has another game of golf with Key when he isn’t even PM any more, despite Key aiding Thiel who was working against the party Obama was supposed to want to win.

    You could throw a lasso and capture Obama, Key, Thiel and Trump all in it, such seems to be the little space between them all.

    All we ever know or knew about John GolfBalls Key is his predilection for playing freaky kinky games with little blonde girls. On the sidewalk. He gets his weird jollies from the little innocents.

    What he did or didn’t do while Prime Minister is so much more mysterious. He was so often away with his USA cabals.

    However, one thing stands out very clearly. Millions of New Zealanders under his reign have ended up lowly paid, unable to ever own even a modest house, struggling to pay massive dickensian Rents for rat holes, unable to even ask Corporates to deal fairly.

    Effectively, GolfBalls Key and his National Party over nine years are as bad as any dictator or stalinist regime that has ever “Governed” any parliament anywhere.

    National doesn’t give a toss about New Zealanders. Nor does the Media. They down trod the Public of New Zealand.

  7. agree 100% with Observer Tokoroa. Now we have just found out Middlemore and Manukau Super clinic have rotten damp buildings.
    Not only have the gnats government neglected the people of south Auckland but they have turned a blind eye to vital facilities. and they have left a big mess for someone else to clean up and this is all part of johns brighter future.

      It is appalling how Key and his sick colleagues have down trodden millions of decent New Zealanders.

      They built no homes. They built no infra structure for their massive chinese immigration swarms. They did no maintenance. They sold off schools to their buddies and did not require them to have Teachers.

      And so it goes on. and on and on. They hate high Standards. So they create low ones.

      National are Stalinists – only worse. So is their Hooton and their Farar and Slater who support them ardently.

      • In 2008 John Key beat Helen Clark and part of that win Social Media camoaign. In 2017 Winston Peters outflanked everyone using the exact same strategy with 1/6th the budget of a walking talking out of touch elitist corpse called Bill English. He lost! THE END.
