This is the truth about our health care under National…

Middlemore Hospital full: Patients told ‘go elsewhere’ or wait at least eight hours
Under-pressure staff at Middlemore Hospital told accident and emergency patients to go elsewhere last night or face a wait of up to eight hours.
They made a sign at put it up at the front of the Accident and Emergency Department warning people off because of extensive delays.
“The Hospital is full,” it stated. “Expect major delays of up to 8 hours to be seen in the Emergency department.
“Please consider attending an alternate Accident and Medical clinic or your family doctor.”
This is what underfunding health by over $2billion looks like.
This is what letting 500 000 new migrants in without building a new hospital looks like.
This is what giving everyone $20 a week in tax cuts with zero investment into our social infrastructure looks like.
This is a Government who only this year admitted their suicide strategy wasn’t working.
At some stage NZers have to acknowledge that National’s much vaunted managerial skills are all smoke and mirror bullshit and that Labour’s investment of $19billion over four years into our social infrastructure is a far better response to health underfunding than 2 big mac combos worth of tax cuts each week.

Yep constantly have “capacity full” emails flashing across my screen at the DHB I work at.
When will this bankrupt and corrupt Government put up the “full” signs at our border?
Here here Bert. Very well put.
Mr Coleman always talks like everything is just great, and that this government does so much in health. But with record net immigration gains every year for a few years now, is it any surprise that the hospitals are at or above capacity?
It is not going to get any better soon, and if Labour forms the next government, they will have to do so much catching up, it will be a major challenge for them.
