Pike River families will announce a new mine re-entry plan at 12:30 tomorrow afternoon at Parliament by the Cenotaph.
The plan has been developed by two international mining experts – David Creedy, Vice Chair of the UN Group of Experts on Coal Mine Methane, and Bob Stevenson, former UK Principal Mines Inspector.
The report has been reviewed and endorsed by three separate international mining and mines rescue experts.
Bernie Monk, Anna Osborne, Sonya Rockhouse, and Dean Dunbar will be speaking on behalf of families and will be available for interview after the announcement.
