The defamation case taken by far right spin dr, Jordan Williams against Colin Craig is on. I can’t really comment much on the case, as Nicky Hager and I will be appearing as witnesses to look at Jordan’s track record and whether what Colin Craig had to say about Williams and Slater is true.
Once the case is over I can be far more free with my thoughts, but there is a lot going on here.
Is it a judge or jury trial?

Two dodgy right-wing characters enmeshed in a legal stoush. Makes my day.
It’s former CCCP press secretary Rachel MacGregor that I feel sympathy for.
The story gets more gross with each witness. This is the vileness of sexual harassment.
One thing is for certain, this is the nail in the coffin for Craig’s political ambitions. Good riddance.

But it explains why the new party “New Zealand People’s Party” is starting up. With National having destroyed ACT, the Maori Party and United Future, they’ve run out of coalition partners to work with.
While I have no time for Colin Craig or his bigoted Conservative Party, I do wonder if this had been a National MP, if msm would have published any of the sordid details as has been done with this case? Somehow I think not.

So the question is: Do you support Craig now you know what he’s been sending his female employee?
If Craig wins this case how can Bradbury and Hagar ever speak out against sexual harassment in the workplace ever again?

I predict that if Craig loses there will be very large and quiet settlements to those he defamed.

He revealed that the court was likely to hear that Macgregor did send Craig a number of text messages and cards that “reciprocated” caring feelings.
However he was not aware of those until well after he had spoken to the members of the Conservative Party.

It doesn’t matter how upset Williams was – what he said to external parties was not true – and Macgregor knew it, and let Williams charge ahead anyway.
With friends like these…………………sheesh.
Here’s my point – Macgregor only gave Williams half of the story, so Williams could not have been telling the truth, because he didn’t have the truth to tell.
According to Williams own testimony, Macgregor stitched him up, and according to Rankins testimony, their was a mutual relationship going on of some type.
But hey, guess what?
If the relationship was mutual (and both Williams and Rankin have now confirmed this in one way or another to be true), then it was NOT sexual harassment, which is defined as “…unwanted and unwarranted behaviour that a person finds offensive, intimidating or humiliating and is repeated, or significant enough as a single incident, to have a detrimental effect upon a person’s dignity, safety and well-being”.
This could now mean that Macgregor has been lying through her teeth (to quote a popular Christine Rankin saying) about being sexually harassed, which means Macgregor has successfully played:
Jordan Williams
Cameron Slater
John Stringer
Christine Rankin
The old CPNZ Board
The Human Rights Commission
The NZ media (both social and mainstream)
The entire Macgregor family
And if that is the case, then it’s Macgregor and not Craig who should have gone into politics, because that is some gigantic swindle to pull off, upon so many, for so long.

So, given the most recent media summaries today:
We know that Macgregor’s “sexual harassment” claim against Craig was false;
We know that Macgregor lied to Williams about the “sex text”;
We know that Williams lied to Rankin about seeing the “sex text”;
We know that the “sex text” doesn’t even exist;
We know that Williams lied under oath just two days ago about going behind Macgregor’s back when he approached the old CPNZ board;
We know that Williams and Macgregor were much, much more than just friends – they were in a romantic relationship;
We know that Williams, Slater, Stringer, the old CPNZ Board, Rankin, the NZ media, the Human Rights Commission, Kensington Swan Lawyers, Stephen Franks, and goodness knows who else have been utterly stitched up by Macgregor’s false allegation of sexual harassment against Craig.
And we are only into day three of evidence and cross.
Not wishing to jump to any conclusions and to prejudge anything before the court at present, but Mr Jordan Williams, he was looking a bit bewildered on the TV news, when challenged re the text messages he quoted the other day, which were allegedly sent by Mr Colin Craig.
He had to admit, he never saw them.
Wow, “solid evidence”, I suppose.
Let us wait for the end result of the hearing, it is becoming “interesting”.
We all make foolish mistakes, but maybe something was not really what it was claimed to have been.
