    GMO is an elaborate corporate plan to control our seed production and crops so we are ecstatic that the court ruled against the corporate greed to control our crops.

    The High Court has upheld the Environment Court’s decision that local councils can have control over use and release of genetically modified organisms in their district.

    The ruling was based on an appeal by Federated Farmers, which argued the release of GMOs was already regulated by the Environmental Protection Authority and local councils were not qualified to make such decisions.

        It actually led an RNZ News bulletin at one stage.
        Whilst I have the deepest sympathy for her and her battle, I also well remember her preparedness to offer spin and bullshit to prop up her Natzi colleagues – even going back when Backbenchers was on TVNZ7.

        In some ways people like Nikki are more dangerous than the known bullshit artists, if only because they’re quite nice people.

        I’m not sure I can remember Helen Kelly’s predicament leading a news bulletin, and I’ve certainly never heard some of the utterly tragic stories to do with homelessness, or patients being put on waiting lists to be put on waiting lists leading.

        I have seen John Key says this and John Key says that in our MSM – at every opportunity they get.

        We’ve still got a handful of half decent journalists hanging on for grim death – aside from the obvious, it’s as well not to name them or they’ll be up for redundancy. They occasionally come out with a few gems.

        I’ve learnt that the only thing that motivates the likes of the Natzis (and even Labour) these days, or partisan government departments these days is a potential for embarrassment.

        It’s a shame Winston and The People’s Party are in conflict at the moment because there’s some really juicy shit at the moment that’s in their mutual interest, and actually of benefit to all ‘oppostion’ parties in government.
