  1. I see the Prince of Ponce, Mike Hosking, is pushing Augusta Finance in Herald online ads.

The last TVNZ employee I recall doing this type of work was Richard Long.

He also had no real credibility in financial matters, but he influenced many to invest in a soon to fail finance company.

  2. From a blog on the preempted announcement by the US MSM that Hillary Clinton was the democratic nominee, a day before the California primary….
‘The terminally-ill “legacy” mainstream media has decided to commit suicide.
When you have no credibility, how much can you charge for advertising?’

    • Rightly said Kim Dandy the US is now under the total control of the corporate global cabal.

We are now the same part of the corporate takeover of the globe

  3. ‘Beyond Brexit: Who else could jump ship?’

“Boeing today confirmed a multi-billion dollar deal with Iran to deliver up to 100 planes in a move not seen in decades. Ameera David has the details. Then, Anastasia Churkina joins from London with the latest on the Brexit battle that’s just days away. Bianca Facchinei takes a look at the declining labor force participation of American men, and Ashlee Banks breaks down how pharmaceutical sales reps are pushing pills using free meals.

After the break, Worth Wray offers his take on how the Federal Reserve is affecting global markets.

And finally, in The Big Deal, Edward Harrison examines how a possible Brexit could spur other groups in Europe to seek independence from their countries.”

NOTE; WE ASK; Mrs Rebstock was employed in NY in 1987 about the time John Key was employed by Merrill Lynch and she left during that year as John key brokered a currency raid on the NZ DOLLAR almost bankrupting NZ as Paula Rebstock had just arrived in NZ? Is there any connection here since both she and her husband bare deep inside the NZ Treasury now?

MARKETS: Shadow banking in the spotlight

      Giles Parkinson10 Nov 2008, 10:54 AM

Key was elected prime minister of New Zealand last weekend after his National Party achieved a crushing victory over the incumbent Labour government of Helen Clark.

The timing of his elevation, in the midst of a financial crisis, may be quite prophetic. After all, Key’s rise to prominence in foreign exchange circles came after he struck a rewarding relationship at Bankers Trust with Andy Krieger, a daring New York-based trader who launched a legendary raid against the NZ dollar in 1987.

Krieger reportedly bet more than the country’s entire money supply against the currency, forcing it down sharply and taking massive profits in what is still described as one of the finest forex plays ever completed.

Key’s role in this raid is not entirely clear. The timing of his arrival at BT suggests he might not have had a great deal to do with it, but he benefited from Krieger’s continuing interest in the currency, which helped Key lift BT to top of the local currency tables and attract interest from international investment banks.

New Zealand’s new leader also knows a lot about job losses, having by his own admission earned the reputation of being the “smiling assassin” during his short stint at the Sydney offices of Merrill Lynch in 2001 when he reportedly helped fire some 500 staff.

He had been through this process before, after Merrills incurred massive losses as a result of the Asian crisis. Key, then head of the bank’s forex operations in London, is credited by former colleagues for his ability to hold a demoralised team together, even while sacking, in his own words “dozens fewer than 100”, a comment that reveals an early talent for political spin.

      • Paula Rebstock is in charge of privatisation of NZ assets assisted by Goldman Sachs, employed by John Key and National all part of his American agenda.
Goldman Sachs calls the shots on behalf of American interests.

  4. UK has been brexited, out of European Union. UK now can rule themselves and not allow Brussels and Germany rule over them,
Talk that David Cameron will need to resign.
Shame we cant get out of Asia Pacific Union, controlled bu USA and China. We could get a leader who looks after the people instead of selling us out to global interests.
