1. RIP 8000 State Houses, the first piece of budget legislation, passed into law yesterday was that which allows this Government to flog off 8000 of the Homes the State holds on behalf of its most needy citizens to ‘private providers’,

   i have yet to find a copy for a read of its provisions and what worries me now that the inevitable has occurred is just what happens to OUR houses when one of these ‘private providers’ goes belly up,

   Without specific clauses in the legislation which puts such Homes back into the States control, or, specifically ensures that another ‘private provider’ takes control of them then they are likely to be flogged off to the ‘speculators’ by the Banks that i assume will hold mortgages over them…

2. from the Property Institute via RadioNZ National is news that in the past couple of years 15% of properties bought and sold in Auckland have been re-sold within 2 years,

   Of course the Prime Minister’s ”bright line test” will have little or no effect and the only means of addressing the Auckland housing issue via the taxation due on such ‘investment properties’ is to apply the ”bright line” to property that is resold within 10 years just as the TAX RULES state,

   Of course the Prime Minister, being Slippery, knows all this, is in all likelihood playing the ‘property game’ Himself, He would know as well as i do that what is the driving force behind the majority of this ‘housing inflation’ is the ability of ‘investors’ to obtain ‘interest only loans’ over 5 and 10 year periods, and, write all that interest off from the tax due on wages and salaries, thus you and me pay through our taxes and the ‘speculating investors’ get to pay less tax…

3. Beware the Oil Industry!…big money , big stakes, big environmental damage with no remedy soon….big irresponsibility

   “The company operating the pipeline that recently leaked thousands of gallons of crude oil off the California coast says it may be months before investigators learn what went wrong.

   Officials say they’ve been able to rake up over 9,000 gallons of oil around the vicinity where the leak was spotted earlier this week, but cleanup efforts aren’t expected to end anytime soon, and determining the cause of the leak may still take some time

   …According to the Los Angeles Times, Plains has accumulated more than 175 safety and maintenance infractions during the last decade, but Hodgins, the senior director of safety, said that’s “well within industry norms.”..

4. Good article today on alternative media and Google. Wake up New Zealand tells of how Google is building up a list of truth articles,and debunking what is its opinion is false.It seems its a way of silencing alternative media.
   There are other more honest search engines online now,the article gives the names of these search engines,Seems Google is run by cabal to feed false info,but its not working because people are more aware and trust alternative media. check it out.
