  1. Since leaving NZ under the National coalition, life here on the Gold Coast is stunning. From the cost of groceries, electricity and petrol plus the ability to go home stress free with an improved income life could not be better. It saddens me to think people believed National was the way forward when history shows the country as a whole goes backwards under National governments as evidenced by the past 2 years. Unqualified ministers in the most important portfolios take the country back decades, Simeon Brown, Nicola Willis et al.

  2. Nicola Willis will not campaign for an electorate seat next year. Has the penny dropped that she is not likeable enough to win a seat, or is she beginning to think of a career change? Both could be true. One can only hope.

  3. (You forgot to mention Greens latest MP has so much time on his hands he can have a side hustle as a community board member . Who keeps tabs on the work rate of the Party List MPS

  4. For every Green MP there are 5 dodgy National MPs then of course the smoke and gun lobbyists from ACT and NZ First. You are extremely prejudiced Trevor( always).
The right wing media that controls NZ media never keep tabs on them or their work loads Trev. Why the outrage on a Green, is it because they’re soaring in the polls?

      1. 13 % election time, you’re clearly not worldly enough to study history. Meanwhile National are tanking and given the appalling last 2 years, that’s not a surprise.

      2. And here’s another snippet Trev, keeping Luxon as leader is the left blocs greatest vote winner.

  5. Pretty desperate like how the Ukrainians feel fending off the Russian advance. Except Russia isn’t full of free market nut jobs and do try to look after their people.

  6. Te pati Maori have to seriously get organised. That entitled jumped up prat who organised the hikoi and is employed by his mother in parliament should back right off. Grow up, one big event does not make you the boss and you are wrecking te pati Maori.

Well I want Labour to make up part of the next government but I do want those other two parties to push the envelope and make sure Labour don’t sleep walk to victory. Everyone will be wanting to know how many of the bills that the current morons have shoved through will be reversed. Labour has always been very good at jumping up and down but doing little about the issue they jumped up and down on when they get into power. Anyway Hipkins may be nice but frankly he hasn’t got the steel that is needed. Their pathetic capital gains tax idea is just that pathetic!

  7. Check your demographics it was Gen X males that voted against Jacinda and even wanted to kill her

Your most likely outcome prediction looks like an item from your a Santa wishlist. Sadly Santa won’t listen. There’s a great song to complement your dream: Boulevard of broken dreams.

  9. I’m predicting a landslide victory for the Left. A majority are terrified of a continuation of the right wing coalition of chaos and destruction, as evidenced by the past 2 years..
