  1. Kia ora Hem, I can’t even begin to know what to say to you..other than ‘keep strong’, and know that you are clearly doing the best for your kids, and maybe, if we all stick together, we CAN make a better world for your kids and my kids and everyones kids… and maybe even a better world for ourselves for when we get old.

And don’t you worry, reading your story… you still have all the Mana and sanity anyone could ever need. Its those people you’re dealing with who’ve lost THEIR dignity. You can see it when you look in their eyes, nothing there but meanness.

    1. They have lost there dignity as that meaness has been transferred down the chain. Those in charge of MSD must be a mean spirited bunch with political plants inserted to keep the mean ideology going. I mean its the only way you could achieve such a mean spirited organisational culture.

  2. Terrible story that is sadly too common under this regime. Your local MP is Tim MacIndoe and his office should help you – it is their department that has failed you, after all. Come to my office if they won’t.

  4. I’d be interested to know what reforms major parties have in mind for Winz – which frankly was vicious enough under Clark. There’s a whole lot of victim blaming and runarounds going on – none of which help our country at all.

Bill English is fond of the lie that our economy is in good shape. If that were true there would be an abundance of work, and no excuse for not lifting benefits to a liveable level. The fact is we’ve had a government survive for eight years by lying about their performance, and bribing or threatening the media to maintain the facade as real wealth and quality of life declines.

We really need strong punitive sanctions against politicians who abuse the public trust in this fashion; if Bill had behaved as irresponsibly with the assets of shareholders he would certainly face imprisonment.

    1. Thats so true Jay. Dog eat Dog. No wonder there is no respect in society especially between different social classes. People are taught to look down there noses at those in lower social classes. Also the whole I am alright jack pull the ladder up is alive and well in our society. Many kiwis now have little loyalty to this country and would leave tomorrow given the chance.

  5. It was in the newspaper today that WINZ is digsusting in it’s behaviour to solo parents. They suffer far more persecution than those rich folk who defraud Inland Revenue.Even ACC is not so harsh on the underpriviledged.

    1. white collar crime is viewed as a lesser evil.
Blue collar crime is seen as ripping off the boss.
And you cant do that now can we.
