  1. Come on Martyn you know that they will keep blaming Labour, they live in an evidence free world where their feelings are all that matters.

  2. Sadly those who elected this embarrassingly corrupt and greedy CoC don’t give a damn – they belong to the “I’m alright Jack” cohort! = “People who act only in their own best interests, even if providing assistance to others would take minimal to no effort on their part.” There is no hope for a better society until this miserly lot wake up, smell the roses, and change their selfish, self-absorbed attitudes. Watching this inept, clueless CoC bungle from one catastrophe to another is worse than watching a train wreck! Yes, had Labour done even half of what this hateful CoC has inflicted on us, they would have been driven out of town. Where is your pride Kiwis? Also, way over time for our media to grow a backbone!

  3. Dumb greedy FOMO voters voted for an even dumber government .I spoke to a dairy farmer yesterday who agreed this government are doing nothing for farmers or anyone else for that matter .Another couple asked what labour spent the money on .They were astonished when I pointed out that every school was given $1000 per pupil as part of the covid recovery program to spend on buildings and other material things .Our two small schools upgraded 3 class rooms the astro turf and a new roof and floor in the gymnasium.A larger college built 3 new class rooms and bult a massive covered sports field which they also use for whole of school assemblies instead of having several to accommodate the large number of students they have .Then there is the money invested in houses and hospitals like the massive rebuild at Whangarei hospital all funded under the covid recovery program .

  4. Some of the inflation was no doubt caused by a huge ship blocking the Panama Canal. It was a disaster and the thoughtful practical people kept at finding a solution. A fascinating story and I will look for the one I found on the net and put it up later. But they solved the problem to the extent that they could and faster than expected/ So might we, so keep going folks.

  5. I blame National. I just updated my stock-take sheet after a few months for a total of 191 price increases on food items.

  6. I think that governments get voted out, rather than parties being voted in. I think that Labour were widely perceived as a cross between useless and hopeless, and so were voted out. As I see it, the electorate was focused on who was going out, rather than who might be coming in. Live and learn eh?

  7. “What’s the point of that weekly $14 tax cut” when there’s not enough change to get a coffee after buying 500g of butter.

  8. RUC, Rego, ACC, Rates all up big time and electricity the nice big earner for govt. Interesting the excise tax hasn’t been messed with (scared). I mean, do these co suckers think we are blind and stupid. There is enough here to not even look at policy next election. Start again !
