    1.GDP is smaller every Quarter than was forecast in the treasury pre-election forecast.
    2. GDP 28 billion dollars less by the end of this government by election than was forecast.
    3. 28 billion is about what we spend on the health service every year.
    4. 3 billion dollars short each quarter. = now a 5% smaller economy than was forecast in september 2023
    5. Unemployment higher than was forecast at 5.5% 76,000. more than forecast.
    6. We are spending 750 million more on job seeker benefit than 6 months ago.
    7. That 750 mill is 3/4 of the spare cash to spend on whatever next year.

  2. I’m still predicting a landslide for the Right at the next election, too many are terrified of a Left wing Coalition.

  3. I think we are screwed. Those with fat investment portfolios and savings nest eggs will be protected while everyone else will go down as National impose austerity and privatisation. It was a nice ride I guess. See you all in the New Year.
