  1. Right on there Martyn.

The saying goes, “It couldn’t’ happen to a nicer bloke” right?

  2. Now I do a lot of banjo twanging being not from Auckland and all and as such don’t know very much, but seems to me that this article is full of typos. This probably isn’t even all of them:

“PMs Office collided to leak ”
“suggesting you should defiantly listen to those voices”
“You don;t [don’t] get the same treatment because your hate spite isn;t [isn’t] journalism and as such can’t get [the] sort of protection as [when] your actions [highlight the] abuses of political power [and are] in the public interest.”

TDB should really get some sort of copy editor. There are probably a number of banjo twanging yahoos (assuming they don’t come from the great city of Auckland of course, in which case there are no banjos) who might even volunteer to do it for nothing.

    1. You appear to be more fixation on “Auckland” and “typos” rather than the message, which was loud and clear. Got anything to say on that? And BTW, Auckland has nothing to do with it.

      1. Ah yes, the great learning to read and spell change that went through our education system 20 or 30 years ago. The one where “spelling is not as important as the message”.

        Hmm…

More poorly educated chooks coming home to roost.

Blogs and postings around here are bedevilled by ‘typos’ which usually means the wrong form of there, their or they’re or the ever popular to, two, too. Possessive apostrophes are yet another perennial favourite; used when not needed and absent when required.

The list goes on and on.

The outcome of all this is postings that are very difficult to comprehend. That means the message.

That’s why we have grammar and accepted spelling.

        To make the message clear…

        1. All those words and not one of them on the topic of the article. Never said spelling wasn’t important and what “spell change that went through our education system 20 or 30 years ago? The article was not difficult to comprehend and it’s message is very clear… unless you have problems with your reading/comprehension skills to start with.

          1. Yeah right.
I have a doctor’s certificate to say my reading and comprehension is poor. It’s called a degree.

I know what Martyn’s blog is about and I know the point he is trying to make. This diversion, which you seem to want to keep extending, is about ensuring that the messages posted are clear and understandable.

That means taking your time and editing it before you post…

          2. Flippant arrogance is not intelligent at all. It wasn’t me who started this diversion that you yourself has extended. The point I made still stands.

          3. Flippant arrogance is not intelligence. I wasn’t the one creating the diversion from the message, that you yourself have extended. The point I made still stands.

  3. Hager didn’t steal anything from Cameron Slater, but what about the private data Cameron Slater STOLE when he, Ede and Bhatnagar hacked into Labour’s computers and using and threatening to use those stolen goods on his website? Does that make Cam Slater and John key’s staffer and their hacker mate “C”‘s too? Weren’t Cameron Slater, Jason Ede and Aaron Bhatnagar so lucky that the police refused to do their job and lay criminal charges against the members of National’s black ops crew?

NO, no givealittle fund, Slater doesn’t deserve it. The government by way of the taxpayer and no doubt the National party are already funding Cameron Slater’s useless lifestyle, and he avoids complete scrutiny due to that association.
Cameron Slater likes dictatorships. He interviewed a few dictators when he ran away to avoid questions over his role in National’s dirty politics. In fact, Israel partially funded his trip. That raises a number of questions doesn’t it? Did he ever produce those so called “journalist” articles? But NZ is not that lucky that he would live somewhere else. That odious troll is going no where, and is just sounding off like a spoilt brat and windbag. Slater has it too good here with National’s backing.

  4. “I think we should start a givealittle fund to help Cam and his family move far far away.”

Another typo- that’s not a ‘family’- the correct term should be one of the following:

drift, drove, sounder, team or passel

    Filth.

  5. Bye bye Mr Greasy Whale. NZ will be a much better place without your presence! Just go … please. And while you are at it, take your bff FJK with you. You’d both do very well in the rogue state of Israel.

  6. Slater oil is more than welcome to piss off to Israel where a good number of his kind gather, but surely he would not want to leave his cushy number at the filthpump blog? unless he has attracted too much legal heat…

  7. Hell yeah with the give a little fund, I would even use my credit card to get his airfare out of NZ on the condition he never comes back.

    1. No problem, his ‘bestest mates’, pony tail Key and Oravida Collins will come to his aids in no time!

  8. It would be truly delightful to see the off-centre Cam exuent. Can I suggest Alaska? He would seem to have a lot in common with the people there both human and cetacean.

In any event, I would bet you $14 that someone else will take over the helm of the wobbly waka.

It always seems to work that way, like it’s an official position that must be filled:

Wanted: a right-wing arsehole with a big mouth and an odd set of morals to run a web blog. Apply within…

  9. What can I say Slater, you aidded and abetted in the theft of files, involved yourself in the smear campaign, helped to frame Nicky Hager, you were never investigated because Key covered up for you, and you still snivel and whine about being a victim of attack.
No sympathy, no apologies from me. You get what you deserve, and this what happens to cowards such as yourself.
Pack up, and leave New Zealand Cameron Slater. You’re a traitor.
Pity I didn’t get in ring with you.

    1. Yeah you’re dead right there Trev, it’s the pot calling the kettle black, as my old granny used to say…
