We are literally taking from the mouths of hungry children to fill the pockets of rich landlords – how does it feel NuZilind?

I’m honestly waiting for this Government to announce a Nuclear Power Plant, the reintroduction of whaling, legalising slavery, creating a market for body organs and bringing back the death penalty.

This isn’t a Government, it’s a right wing culture war revenge fantasy and TDB has been calling it out before the election result was even in!

Remember how so many pundits proclaimed this wasn’t a hard right Government?

Remember how political commentators attempted to claim this hard right racist climate denying beneficiary bashing Government was moderate?

The Democracy Project is very quiet on that front now eh?

  • 8000 Tobacco deaths for tax cuts
  • Vandalising Māori Public Health
  • Obscene tax cuts for mega landlords
  • Have involved us in a. new American war
  • 13000 children pushed into poverty to fund tax cuts
  • The Disabled losing $2300 per year to fund tax cuts
  • Indexed benefits to inflation costing the poorest families $555million
  • Mutilated worker rights by killing off Fair Pay Agreements
  • Bringing back sub machine gins
  • Mutilated public transport
  • Bringing back Oil and Gas exploration WHILE guaranteeing them costs if we retake Government in 2026 and kick them out.
  • Bringing back military boot camps which don’t work.
  • Changing Emergency Housing eligibility to dump people
  • Killed off 3 Waters meaning everyone will face steep water rate rises
  • Killed off clean car discount
  • Attacked Te Reo in state agencies
  • Giving Trans National Mining Interests fast track ability to damage our environment
  • Banning Gang Patches that will only make things worse
  • Killed off Auckland light rail while we are gridlocked thanks to mass immigration
  • 90 day right to sack and right to evict renters
We should collectively be ashamed of what we have become in just 100 days and it’s only going to get far worse.

  1. Food from the mouths of children while celebrating on crayfish is brutal. Driving intelligent educated people overseas is self-serving and worse than cynical.

    Filling the pockets of landlords will not magically solve the housing crisis being audited by the Double Dipper from Dipton, and nor will dumping the homeless on the streets house them, make the streets any safer, help businesses, or give families the security and stability which they all need and should have. Bullying the police, who they use as a tool whenever it suits them, is a winner though, when all levels of society resent the police, although we very much need them.

    The price of cabbages has come down, even if rents are highly unlikely to, and it’s still gonna be a hard winter for the have-nots.

    1. Their land was stolen by the crown, language banned, culture denigrated, racism and discrimination of state agencies.

    2. Reduced minimum wage increases and Reduced Benefit increases .
      Why ?
      They will only increase by Gdp increase and not average wage % increase.
      The treasury says that will put an additional 13,000 kids into poverty.

      Not only that Winz have already begun the attack on Long term Supported living benefit folks like the disabled and cystic fibrosis and cerebral palsy people for example.
