  1. Self serving virtue signalling designed to mask illegal government mass surveillance for immoral corporate benefactors. This is pantomime for these control freaks in their gated communities, a nod to the public from woke shadow spooks. Sadly it’s inspiration for those craven civilians willing to do anything to reach the middle and impress their charges. To the neo-zealot religion has a new doctrine and it requires selling your soul or worse, dobbing in your neighbour. It’s as bad as brainwashing students to use rabid hate to nurture love (or likes). It’s building social media community but it presents as mob pathologies. Gaslighting, fear mongering, astro turfing, neologism word salads or straight up lying have been reimagined in this woke generation. Government’s don’t even bother to disguise disinformation now. Suspicion is the new presumption of guilt, people are commodities, access is power. It’s the same as the hero worship of Covid commandant Bloomfield or the fawning over Ardern as fairy change agent. Giving voyeurs in the spy sector praise for diversity is about as meaningful as illegally surveilling NZ citizens such as the ’88’ or Kim Dot-com, breaking multiple laws against Julian Assange including intercepting confidential lawyer-client privileges in a sovereign embassy, or allowing that intelligence officer to flee the UK after mowing down a motorcyclist. You may as well give a POTUS the peace prize. Spy on yourselves you criminals.

  2. “The SIS who were busted in 2016 of having a racist in house culture, who were hassling Muslims, spying on environmentalists and keeping Māori under surveillance……who missed a white supremacist plotting an atrocity for two years under their nose? That SIS have a rainbow tick for fucking diversity do they?”

Well whaddya know: diversity hasn’t fixed what ails the SIS with regard to the prejudices and biases of its staff. Now who could’ve predicted that, huh?

In the past, intel and diplomatic services tried not to employ gay men, because it was believed that they were more susceptible to blackmail than straight men.
