  1. Ah well, once the right wingers take control of the government benches, which seems more and more likely with this sort of idiocy going on, you’ll see this sort of bullshit getting flushed down the dunnie.
Seymour won’t put up with it you know (now where did I put that ballot paper?)…

  2. Like WOW, those NZ on Air “guidelines” perfectly explains the current state of RNZ and why they are so pathetic.

    Now thats good reporting!

  3. RE: Alex Jones – All good things come to them that wait!!!!

RE: NZ on Air – Totally screwed. I’d love to see a political party commit to end the PIJF. Either allowing the money to continue with no strings attached but there are still issues with this, or in doing away with it altogether.

What Graham doesnt mention is that apart from the direct requirements of the PIJF, there is pressure brought to bear in indirect ways. Like close personal and implied business relationships between Ardern and the CEO? (A very senior member of NZ on Air?) and the overall consequences of falling out with the government that is always present but much more present now a days because of the governments directed weekly press gallery briefings coupled with the PIJF implications.

For example, I dont read much MSM but from what I gather last week, around 100K anti 3 waters submissions were received against 3 Waters but I havent heard a mention of this in the MSM. However this week we have had articles on Wellington running out of water because it leaks like a sieve, a former Water body head saying why 3 Waters is great, an explainer by RNZ about how 3 Waters has changed and how its now all good, plus one or two others.

I first observed this phenomena over the Christmas holidays and have been reading more MSM and watching the timing of things and if you do so, you will notice a plethora of pro government propaganda (not always obvious – usually talking about environmental aspects etc for example) about any issue that is coming up for consultation or revision etc. Meanwhile stuff less helpful to the Govt turns up on a Friday at 4 or whilst the PM or Minister concerned is away.

  4. Alex Jones. “He was Q Anon before Q Anon”.

When will the MSM investigative journalists discover who is the real Q Anon? Or is he just a conspiracist hive mind?

  5. Alex Jones, under Texas law, won’t be required to pay more than 2x on top the initial amount for damages +%750,000. So that means ~$13M is the absolute top amount he will be required to pay. I gather he makes about $65+M per year, so this really isn’t the big win people think it is.
